Friendly staff and probably the best place for shave ice in Kona... Lots of flavors, sizes, and choices. Take a break from the heat and get some authentic shave ice .

The small Lava Flow shave ice is delicious. With strawberry and piña colada syrup , your choice of ice cream (vanilla or coconut is my fave) and add the "snow cap " sweetened condensed milk .

Wide range of favors (e.g., passion fruit , lychee , banana , watermelon , cola, tigers blood); all of the standard add-ins (e.g., ice cream with flavor options, condensed milk , mochi , azuki beans).

Shaved ice is like snow and the ice cream especially the lava flow was great. The shaved ice presentation made it an experience with some shaped like volcanos ???? completes a great kona afternoon

The shave ice is awesome, best we found! Huge sizes, decent prices and super friendly staff . Toasted coconut is amazing, as is Lava Lava flow . Get a snow-cap or coconut cream topping.

Each shaved ice is hand crafted to perfection. The flavor combos are endless! Make sure you get ice cream in the center, & yes, the "small" is huge!

Shaved ice is great! Servers are very friendly . We ordered a Lava Flow variation : piña colada , strawberry , coconut cream topping, no ice cream . So good and perfect for the warm Kona weather.

The shaved ice is the best I have ever had! Dole whip center , guava , pineapple and strawberry ice with coconut snow cap . The server was extremely friendly and even wrote aloha on my snowcone!!!!

Ice cream isn't great on its own but the combos with them are delish - get something with goodies, like tapioca or condensed milk . Two can easily share a small.

The shave ice here is superior. If you haven't been before, chose one of the "employee combos" written on the wall. Little kids: rainbow. Adults: try something new: Li hi mui, lychee , mai tai , etc.

While visiting Hawaii I had a goal of getting Shave Ice . So glad I did, these guys are awesome, friendly and the shave ice was so good!

GO NUTS!! There is no bad combo! Pick any three flavors that sound good to you and don’t miss the local ice cream flavors - Mac nut etc

Tourist tip: the small is big enough to share but you may not want to! You can't go wrong w/the Hawaiian Sunset - so refreshing!

Toasted coconut ice cream is amazing but we didn't like the icee (lychee , guava , and mango ) had a bad after taste

Get the Lava Flow (coconut & strawberry with ice cream and condensed milk .) the description sounds disgusting but it somehow works.

Small is enough for 2-3 people. Love lihing mui, lichee, guava flavors, mochi yummy, tapioca good per kids

Get the dole whip in the middle of your shaved ice and eat it quickly!

Located in front of Tante's Restaurant on Alii Drive. Best shave ice on the island . The best is the Haupia. Coconut and vanilla with sweetened condensed milk . Good stuff.

If you're in town , you gotta get a shave ice . The small is actually huge.

Whatever you do, don't get the chocolate flavor , it tastes like an umbrella handle. The fruit flavor are nice, though.
