Surprisingly, the crowds here are incredibly well organized and move incredibly fast! They have extended hours (until 6pm) on Thursdays.

Made a reservation and ended up waiting for two hours. Show up early or bring along your laptop to stay in touch with the office .

Ever heard of those DMV jokes about how long the lines are & stuff? Well it's true! That place is stressful! Please take a Confianza before and after going there. The machines are helpful sometimes.

Very efficient and friendly staff . Make sure you book an appointment online first for fastest service.

Once the only DMV that ferried you in and out in under an hour, the secret is out and it's now wracked with serpentine lines interminable wait times.

Come prepared with all your forms and you’ll be in and out. Staff is pretty kind.

With an appointment I was in and out in less than 20 min.

Try not to get stuck in line behind crazy! A 10-15 minute line can take 30-45 minutes if one or more people are upset because they don't have the appropriate documents and need to come back later.

Yeah out is pretty fast here. For more expedience, you can get all the forms on line . Have them ready and you'll breeze right through.

I come in with my filled form sent to me but given another form to fill because lady doesn't know what form I have?

Overwhelming at first however, Staff is friendly enough, it's very organized therefore things move quickly!

Bring your cellphone with lots of games! And take lots of deep breaths.

The DMV service here is great! BUT, the violations department here is SO corrupt! There's no innocent, and only guilty.

This place is a ghost town compared to 34th street. Save your sanity and take the train to Harlem!

Come when it opens! Arrived at 8:50 and swapped my Ohio license for a NY one in 35 min.

Ask where you should stand on line before you join the queue. If you have all your docs together you can be fast tracked .

Lines aren't bad and move quickly and the staff are polite. Shocking!

Waited to get my number, waited over an hour to get my picture taken, now waiting for an eye test. Only 80 people ahead of me!! Will there be more after that?

Avoid at all costs, or plan an entire day. Not kidding. A simple renewal can take 4+ hours. This is my second attempt. It's the pit of despair.

Do as much as possible online and avoid the long lines ...
