the #23 mount qi beef noodle is really good, very spicy , served in a white plastic bowl (which, for me, is a sign of authenticity in noodle soups ). loud kitchen, fast expeditor. was blissed out for $6
The knife cut noodles are great (I got them with the roast duck ). And the house bao is also delicious… like many other places in the neighborhood , you can get a very filling meal for under $10 here
Reco'd by a stranger when walking by. Glad I listened, great noodles , buns and dumplings ! Got the noodles with duck , only issue was to watch out for bones. But delicious otherwise!
Ever since I found the place 3 yr ago, Mountain Qi is my choice almost time. I'd choose cut noodle over hand pull. I've seen lots of good hand pull before but no everyone cut noodle as thin like this
Tiny casual spot , with a few tables to dine-in. The pork bao is delish! And the Sichuan-style dumplings in spicy sauce are incredible. Highly recommended!
Tiny shop full of old men eating amazing fresh handmade noodles . Soups are simple and great. Spicy Beef perfect for a cold winter day. Steamed dumplings are a dark horse. Very old school spot.
They have a variety of different soups and other Chinatown favorites, like dumplings and fish balls . We never had too much of a problem finding a spot to munch down on some spicy beef soup .
The spicy beef noodle soup is a generously portioned bowl of spice, noodles , and chewy beef . Perfect for a winter day.
You prolly don’t know but you can get homemade frozen dumplings here $10 for 50 pieces!
Beef noodles and steamed dumplings were good. Fried dumplings and pork boas were stellar and v unique
Off the menu item tip: you can ask for a plate full of spinach that was cooked in the spicy beef broth .
I like the dumplings a lot, the Mt Qi beef not so much. Since this was my first time, I'll come back for a few rounds, before i figure this as one of my Nyc Chinatown regulars.
Amazing dumplings ! Can't go wrong here. Just sit away from the door if it's cold out.
Don't miss the steamed dumplings , filled with pork and fresh greens , exhibiting one of the thinnest dumpling skins you've ever seen. Read more

Get the Mount Qi beef noodles , add a fried egg and a small order of pork and chive dumplings . Perfect.
This place has the best hand-pulled and shaven noodles around. Order the number 2 spicy beef noodle soup . The steamed dumplings are also very good, no soy sauce needed!
Cheap hand-pulled and knife-sliced noodles are the specialty here, along with boiled dumplings .
Shockingly cheap . Try to avoid the restroom if you don’t want to see how the “sausage ” is made. Probably best to go slightly inebriated. BYOB .
