Love their ramen . If you're super hungry definitely try the rice and ramen combo. They've got great curry rice and fried rice . It comes as a side dish with a big bowl of ramen . Super friendly staff .
Now Ise and Menkui Tei run as one restaurant . Ise lunch still runs out shortly after 12. Everything is good and cheap anyway. Try some lesser known dishes as well
Love the flavorful summertime hiyashi chuka; the ramen is pretty standard. Great for a casual , filling meal near the park - never too crowded + fast, friendly , and attentive staff ????
Order in person/carry out is fast. This isn't ramen . Pork bone broth is not thick/flavorful. Noodles are not chewy. The only spot in the area so brings the crowds in. Fried rice and prices are good.
Menkuitei and Ise combined. Long line at lunch time though it moves quickly. Recent trend is Kyushu ramen but this place offers more traditional type. Non soup food is great too
Some of the best ramen in the city , good midtown spot. Get the miso ramen with extra corn and eggs .
Nice, affordable ramen in midtown. Friendly and helpful staff . Vegetarian options . Great go-to in the area - specially during the colder months! (Also, try the shochu !)
RAMEN ! RAMEN ! RAMEN ! Spicy garlic miso ramen (#16 on the menu) is awesome!
Tonkatsu ramen is perfect for warming you up on a cold day. Start it off with gyoza and you'l be full all day.
The wavy noodle > thin noodle , it's chewier. The pork and bamboo shoot is overcooked. The side curry rice for $3.50 is really good!!! Very tender beef in it. Totally get that!!!!
This place has amazing ramen . Try the curry ramen with steamed tofu . It's a very authentic place. It makes you feel like you're in Japan.
The menu is hit or miss but you can't go wrong with their bone broth ramen and kalbi ribs--both rich in flavor and inexpensive !
Has gone downhill. This time no utensils were provided. They now provide you a lump of congealed noodles that are next to impossible to break up by adding the broth.
Not our favorite ramen , but the bowls of noodles are plentiful and cheap .
Good ramen place . Feels authentic , service is very fast.
The miso ramen is a no brainer choice, coupled with some crispy pan friend gyoza . Thank me later.
great ramen after all these years, but don't forget to also get the gyoza
The Tonkatsu Ramen is great; the pork bone broth is smooth and rich. I also recommend the shumai and the mabo tofu .
AMAZING food! Ramen is delicious, try anything with curry it'll be quite the experience!
We had different types of ramen and they were all super!
can't beat other popular ramen place like ippudo, totto ... but decent ramen with decent price
Newly renovated with lots of tables. Still fills up fast at lunch , but service is quick. They now take cards!
Noodles come in large portion and soup and noodles can be custom tailored to taste
if you like spicy , go for the pork tan tan men
Sutamina Ramen (spicy garlic miso ) with Kimchi on the side...mmmmmm
Delicious ramen in a relatively quiet corner of the fifties.
Ramen and Soba are phenomenal. Skip the curried rice -- it's just white rice with curry sauce over top.
Great tonkotsu broth, really tough pork in the ramen , and abysmal onigiri .
The soy sauce-based Tokyo and Tan-Tan (spicy ) ramens are the best
Great assortment of ramen !
Everything. Ramen , curry , rice dishes. Awesome prices too.
Try the Stamina Ramen for a spicy , savory twist on their house ramen .
Good ramen ! But this place can be as hot as a living hell... Especially eating hot ramen by the bar ...... (Sweaty)
#StaffPick for Midtown eats. Great atmosphere for quick (and hot) lunch ! Note - cash only .

The curry ramen is great.
Best ramen I have ever had.
Fried squid shumai on the weekend menu is a must-try.
Love this place. Awesome noodles for such little money. A fave for sure!
Good for a quick meal . Tasty ramen and Japanese rice dishes.
Their curry rice and curry ramen is to die for!! Best curry I've ever had!
The Tonkotsu Ramen and side order of Curry Rice offers the most bang for your buck. Cash only !
Gekikara Ramen (Spicy Miso Soup )
The cold ramen hits the spot in the summertime.
Great ramen , supernice gem in Midtown.
gotta try the tonkotsu ramen and the fried pork dumplings . come here if you are a pork lover... just one chicken dish on the menu.. rest are all pork variations !
Their spicy ramen rocks!
Ramen udon was delicious! Will definitely be back:)
All out-of-towners visiting me get a trip here, with an order of Vegetable Hand-Pulled Noodles (comes w/a steamy side of umami Tofu!) and some steamed dumplings to start, one of my fav meals in NYC - Ellie D
I enjoyed the rock shrimp, tuna roll and shrimp tempura roll. Great sushi for a fair price! - Ashley Knight
The food is the bomb diggity - make sure to get the OG chicken ramen and their grilled octopus- #yum - Roxy B.
Wonderful museum and art-collection, nicely presented! We had a little drink afterwards in their very cosy cafetaria. We were served super-friendly!!! - Linda De Wolf

Weill Hall is a smaller, more intimate venue with great acoustics. It was perfect for a piano recital by Hyeyoung Song that I just enjoyed there. - Mike Chung
