Remember which entrance/exit you came from, or else you'll end up like me and go up and down this monstrosity 3 times. 3 TIMES! At least the view from the top made it more gratifying...
Good hike . A little dicey at the end if you’re afraid of heights.
Ignore the Trail End signs. If you climb all the way to the top of the bastard, you better sit on his nose!
The Popocatepetl of Kauai . “Like” this tip if you got the reference ????
Was muddy in end of November but the view at the top was worth it
Bring a picnic lunch : There's a great spot near the top with a covered picnic table and great views . Read more
Does anyone know what the giant takes to sleep? I'd love a dose. Lol great hike and heavenly place wake up at the base of the giant.
Go to the very top if you are willing to do a little rock climbing !
Bring a walking stick and try to hike on a dry day. It can get cold at the top so bring a light jacket or long sleeve shirt .
If hiking in the winter time, be prepared for a slippery start.. Lots of mud...
Great hike !!
The east side trail is more scenic! After the 0.5 mile, there was junction which you have to climb up even though it doesn't look like you should, but that's the right way! Look for arrow on the rock! - Joyce
Nice hike. A little more than moderate as they say in the blogs. Very slippery when it rains, make sure you bring sturdy shoes. great view at the summit though - Praveen Padman
Wear good shoes with plenty of traction. Sandy paths with lava rock strewn in. Beautiful views and plenty of access to lower trails. - Jeremy
Getting to the top takes a bit of courage but the views and feeling are unmatched - ???????????????????????????? ????????????????????????
