Opaekaa Falls is a waterfall Kapa‘a located in United States.
5558-5576 Kuamoo Rd Kapa‘a , HI 96746 United States
New viewing platform makes it easy for those in a wheelchair to see over the tourists & get a super view of the falls.
A short walk along the road to see the waterfalls and the village beneath from across the road . Village lookout is on other side of the road . Restroom available at the parking lot for here.
Easiest waterfall to see, would be dumb not to try
Easy access , but get those binoculars/telephoto lenses out. The falls aren't that close
Easy access . Limited excitement. Still a must.
Worth a 5-10 min visit
It’s a tad far to see, but we’re all chasing the same waterfalls
More chickens than I knew existed
Nice waterfall !
Be sure to go across the street to see the beautiful view of the Wailua river .
Aloha and mahalo
Take your camera , preferably with a telephoto lens .
Wailua Falls is better.
Definitely need a telephoto lens . 200-400mm.
Great view on the wailua falls! The road ends here. The trail is very steep, if you want to go down (it's not allowed though). - Michelle A.
This is my favorite spot on the island. This represents Kauai. - Mausami
Perfect for stand-up paddle boarding! Beautiful, lush, serene (when there aren't a ton of water skiers). - Lisa S.
Beautiful view of Wailua River Valley. - Le Smith
The view is truly beautiful, and the newly refurbished lighthouse is cool to see. Kids will love seeing newly hatched birds, and the staff is very kind and friendly. - Sarah Rippetoe
