It’s a national park so you’ll have an entrance fee. The lighthouse looks really beautiful and the view of the waves crushing on the reef - breathtaking!! Definitely worth a stop!
Lighthouse tours are limited to 15 ppl so proceed to the lighthouse and sign up quick! (Tour included in entry fee ). Free binoculars to borrow where you sign up for tour !
The view is truly beautiful, and the newly refurbished lighthouse is cool to see. Kids will love seeing newly hatched birds, and the staff is very kind and friendly .
$5 to get in. No food or drink allowed. Great views . Tour hourly limited to 15 people. Small lighthouse . Nice quick stop on North shore.
If you just want to see the light house the view from the lookout is amazing. If you want to see the wildlife and close up view its $5 per person admission but to me the view is best from the lookout.
Nice little hidden gem . THE place for bird watching on Kauai . Albatross and red footed boobies are easily visible. Worth your time (and 5 bucks entry fee )
Great for taking pictures. Be sure to look for dolphins and whales .
Great spot for photographing beautiful birds and if you're lucky you'll notice some whales as well !
In the summer months look closely through the fences near the lighthouse for nesting Wedge-tailed Shearwaters. Better yet, ask a ranger or birder to show you one!
Watch the video and take the tour . Wear sunscreen it can be hot.
The loveliest volunteer was taking everyone’s photos with the lighthouse !
Nice to look at from afar but if you want to see it up close, be prepared to spend $10 per person, which I think is too high.
Great place but closes at16:00 , so get there early.
A great place to checkout. Good views of nearby cliffs and an interesting history.
Beautiful place to see whales just off the coast in January.
Your $5 entry fee helps pay for preserve and lighthouse upkeep. You get to use their binoculars to looks for whales .
Currently the lighthouse itself is only open on Wednesdays. Probably best to call ahead and find out.
There are binoculars available for free in the visitor center - they're great for tracking whales and dolphins!
In the winter it is exciting to watch the 20+ ft. waves crash against the rocky shoreline at the base of the cliffs below the lighthouse .
$5/per person to get into the park . Excellent for bird watching . Lots of nene, tropicbirds, red footed boobies and frigate birds.
Beautiful views . Walk down whether you pay the fee or not and check out the blue footed boobies!
