You can visit the garden shop without paying admission. Many garden-related books , small unique decorations and a house plant section, good selection and gift ideas, nice for browsers like me.

Gardners is great year round. Always have a big selection of plants and herbs in the green house. There is a store to buy decorations and stuff which is nice. Pretty pricey though - Mike Dettra
Long ride from my place. Worth the trip, but I won't do it too often. Lots of places to sit and rest and enjoy the many awesome views. They have events, too, if that's what you like. Also history. - Jo Grazide
Longwood Gardens is a great day trip no matter the age! Acres of beautiful gardens and the Fountain Show is a must see while in the area! Would highly recommend visiting! - Alex Linkey
