Great place to get pictures of the Columbia River and of scenic views from every angle around the top lookout. A gorgeous building itself!

Fantastic views & great history info. Interiors look great after recent renovation work. Stunning.

If you go on a winter day...."windy" doesn't describe it. Be prepared for 50 mph+ gusts along with cold (22 degrees). Dress warm!!!! :) but the view is worth it!!!

Plan to spend almost an hour here. Be sure to go into the basement gallery and see the history of the area. There is construction happening on the highway (03/13) but they have a nice system down.

Due to viaduct repairing, the Columbia River Highway is closed, so Vista House and other scenic areas are inaccessible for the rest of 2012 :(
