Sit here with a coffee or grab a beer from the Coca Cola Smeg fridge (or a shot of Ouzo ). There’s a TV in the corner, old jazz music playing and a lack of light from the outdoor world... Read more

Kind a place i would t share with anyone to get difficulty finding seats after :) but, wouldnt be fair not to talk also. Delicious Food, friendly staff , music , decoration..loved it

Cyndie Da Rocha

Excellent for a rainy Sunday afternoon. Go upstairs as the deco is the best. Bring a good amount of cash as it is truly pricey for the location (13£ a cocktail ...).

Armelle De Oliveira

Speakeasy vibe with this laidback bar hidden gem in the middle of vibrant shoreditch. The deco is amazing and the music is perfect for the ambiance.

Lea Desplaces

Great discovery! The fabulously eclectic upstairs sitting room is enough to come here for. Friendly staff and great coffee is an added bonus!

Marie Steinthaler

Eccentric pub / cafe / hideaway. Comfy seating upstairs if you're looking for somewhere to chill . Modest selection of snacks .

Tom Berry

When I moved to London I thought there'd be loads of places like this- there really aren't! Great coffee , good booze and open till late.

Adam Robbins

Get the Espresso Martini and change your life.

Kim Pham

Really unique little spot with dope espresso martinis ????????

Denis N

Nice place with very welcoming people. Good rock music . I recommend this bar

Paul Butcher

Awesome place but they don't take cards so pop down the road to the free cash point on the other side of the street.

Merit

Nice interior. The room upstairs is amazing!

María

Quirky, kitsch and... expensive ! £7.50 for a no frills twinning tea and a hot chocolate . The toilet smelt anything but clean and there's nothing to dry your hands there. Quite disappointing.

David Hodgkinson

This place is made of awesome. I was here 9 at night and the place was buzzing, the team really friendly and the coffee fine. Just go for the décor and ambience.

Joanne Williams

Truly unique! Went for the espresso martini and it did not disappoint

Suraj G.

Don't forget to go upstairs, it's spectacular there.

Bulent Aslan

Great Place, great food.. Friendly boss ...

Eddie Sharkey

It's a NYC Dive Bar in London! Head upstairs for a surprise!

Charlotte Sallis

I discovered this place one hot Saturday afternoon. It was empty. Can't wait to come back in the evening. Yeah, upstairs is incredible, and yeah, our coffees and cakes were very expensive .

Jodi Osborne

Go upstairs! You won't be disappointed.

Sebastian Rydberg

Good place for a relaxed drink. They only take cash though which is dodgy. Tax avoidance, I say...

Jenny Man

They do a great espresso martini

Elsie Lam

Extremely overpriced, only with "human" menu. £5 hot chocolate , £6 bottle Red Stripe, £7 bottle Bulmer. Outrageous!

Londonist

To be honest, we have no idea how good the food and drink are. We were too busy imbibing the roccoco details of the upstairs room , and pretending we actually know what roccoco means.

Jen Starr Dust

Quirky and so cool - great date place . Loads of personality interior. Negatives: rude staff , cash only , payment upfront, outrageous prices. Smash hit let down.

Lizzy Nakielny

Upstairs is the best. Not the best coffee , Internet a bit patchy but nice venue for informal meetings and catching up on some reading

Alfama

check first for a free table upstairs before ordering and pay at the bar !

Derek Wilson

Take it to the bridge. Where's that confounded bridge ?

Noelay L.

Wonderful place & unexpected rococo decoration. The Cosmo was perfect.

Cla Cla

Go upstairs and enjoy the weird furniture .

S De Nardi

Upstairs you will find the most beautiful Victorian coffee house in London.

Alison Roche

Very random opening hours, sometimes open at 3am. Has a crazy vintage saloon upstairs which is very brideshead revisited! Love it!

Jen Ku

The vibe and the atmosphere

Hanna Brager

Kitsch and fun decor , coffee is not great, better for drinks in the evening

Ana Lara

The decoration is eclectic and quite cool but the service is horrendously bad. They were really rude and they make us leave the upper floor just because one of the 5 of us was not drinking anything.

These guys love classic boxing, real old school stuff. Get them talking and enjoy.

Peter Deaves

Love the place. Everyone should go and while away the evening.....

Jessica

Perfect for a chilled out night cap.

Little Ms Random

The upstairs room is fantastic... Food and drink is a little on the pricey side. It's worth the decor though!

Scott Colfer

Head upstairs for a pretty special seating area.

Wifi password is THEBRIDGE

P Klarowski

Overpriced, £3.20 a standard coffee , not accepting card payments. The interior is nice but the service not. We were interrupted in the middle of eating with a "that will be £25,50" which was awkward

Phil Brook

Great date vibe

Juan Castro

They do not accept cards , be sure you bring cash!!!!!

Chris N

Just been charged £6 for a Brew Dog Ale ! Used to love this place but not at those prices...

mordecai

In my top ten of favorite places in London. Go upstairs, sit for awhile.

Milena Godlewska

Nice decor, expensive drinks, very average and pushy service. Good to check it out just once.
