The Botanical Garden is a beautiful distraction in The Land, just make sure to make other plans, moreover, you’ll be here for an hour or two tops especially during the winter.
It is a bit expensive , but worth it in my opinion. The gardens are fairly extensive, and the indoor habitats are lovely. I went during a tree house exhibit and that was super fun!
The outdoor gardens are gorgeous, but we also enjoyed the indoor butterfly garden immensely. Being able to climb up and view the canopy level was amazing!
We went during the orchid mania in the middle of winter. It might be nice during other seasons but for winter, don't even consider it.
The Eleanor Armstrong Smith Glasshouse at the Cleveland Botanical Garden has exquisite views and architecture that will awe you. While you are there you can see the spring blooms and relax outdoors.
You don't need a membership, nor pay for entry fee to eat at this little hidden cafe . They have a selection of wraps , salads , soups , the fattest Rice Krispie treats and the most decadent brownies .
Be sure to go to the Midwest Cacti & Succulents event . Good prices, beautiful displays. While you're there check out the butterflies. Such beauty, my absolute favorite.

Absolutely beautiful!!! A treasure in the city . Kids thought it would be boring but in minutes were smiling and enjoying all the gardens and exhibits .
Make sure to visit the Greenhouse during the winter - the butterflies are a real pick me up.

The garden was moved here to its current location which is also where the original Cleveland Metroparks Zoo was in 1966. Today you can still see bits of the bear pit.

Amazing garden that is totally worth the time to check out and the cafe serves up some pretty good stuff. Friday is sushi day and we got a really decent roll for $5.00.
It is nice to visit here,but not more than 1,5 hours at most! 11 $ entrance is a bit too much for this.

The gardens are gorgeous as are the exhibitions of Madagascar and Costa Rica.
This is juvenile, but totally use the telescope to check out the ants . They're always working! No matter how old I get, the ant exhibit always amazes me. They can carry 50x their weight!
Visit the library & ask to see the world's rarest botanical book ... Beautiful paintings of roses by Redouté (worth $1.5 million!)
Wednesdays the gardens are open late , until 9 p.m., and a student discount is provided with student ID card.
Well worth the $15!!

Observe a wide array of bird species and animals including tortoises and ducks that are hiding in and amongst the foliage.
I felt like this could be so much more. It's more for kids than adults. Not worth the entry fee without kids.

Not much i can say good...... we waited in line for an hour only to be turned away because they claimed they were full .... turns out it was a lie and not true
