Somebody left a tip that it is a good diving spot - NEVER, its a boogy board beach , waves , sand, people, churned up water. On the other hand it is a Fantastic boogie board beach .
This beach is soft by white sands . But, Big wave is often. Once caught in it, you will rotate absolutely. Be careful about rocks when sand leaves.
Nice white and beach but disappointing snorkelling ! Don't listen to the book ! This place has no snorkelling , showers and restrooms are nice !
Nice place to sun tan with the cool breeze coming through. Definitely not a swimming beach . Rough waves coming through. Very good for boogie boarding /skim boarding.
Waves are a bit strong but fun!! Be careful with the turtles because they enjoy the waves as well and are not afraid to bump into you!
It's accessible and gets crowded in high season times. If you want quiet and have a car, drive to another spot.
If you are a tourist , and you are looking for a "real beach " in Kona, you may be in for a hard time! The big island is the newest, and has few sandy beaches , most are still in their lava form. Magic
Great place to watch experienced surfers and boogie boarders strut their stuff
It's nice to lay down, relax, go for a swim to get fresh and repeat.
This is a reliable place to meet 420-friendly folk
Not that magic, a bit crowded and short .
Gets packed.
Sand leaves in the winter and returns in the spring due to the seasonally changing currents.
Nice waves and surf .
Beautiful beach
Don't hit your head on the rocks
It's a good diving spot !
Muchas piedras, hay que traer tabla
Amazing crystal clear aqua blue beautiful water...lots of 20 and 30 something's and families with young children. So much fun!! Great body surfing/boogie boarding! Bring water shoes for the lava hikes - Brittany Smith
Easily accessible snorkeling spot in Kona, with clear water. Great for families, shallow with lots of fish. On the north side of the beach along the highway you'll find surf lessons and gear rentals. - Casey Anderson
We have been on most the beaches on the big island and this was our favorite. It's a perfect place for snorkeling and it's very private. Give it a try, you won't regret it! - Andreea Vilcan-Voaides
Amazing Poke. If you are coming with a friend, definitely get the Da Poke Plate! - Danica Cheung
Gods happy hour deals and drink list. The ahi taco is perfection, so fresh it melts in your mouth. Amazing view of Magic Sands Beach, we dined next to a swimming turtle. Welcoming staff. - Marie La Rue
Great beach! Go in the early morning or evening, gets crowded mid-day. Most come to boogie board. - Marcia D
