Excellent staff and wonderful accommodations right in the heart of downtown Calgary. Agree with Rob H. on Murrieta's. That place is so good. Also, Rise cafe on 9th has great coffee .

Marriott is the Best. Sign up for the rewards program and ask for the taste of gold (they may still offer that promo) you get free wifi and breakfast/evening appies in the concierge lounge .
Awesome location and killer lobby fire! Rooms are modern and it's a close walk to the Devonian Gardens and Core Shopping Centre.

I was only there for 1 night but the staff treated me like a regular. I would definitely stay here again.
Staff is polite but claims reservation made on points can't be found in the system even though I've got three lined up. 20 minutes to resolve. Definitely going back to SPG
Make sure you don't book the same time the Mary Kay convention is held. A million chatty women in pink is more than that lobby cam hold!
