Oasis Outdoor Swimming Pool

6 August: Previously known as Endell Baths, the leisure centre boasts a 27.5-metre outdoor pool . Built on a WWII bombsite, there are two sun terraces and an indoor pool for when the weather is poor.

Its a bit retro but outdoor pool is heated so nice to get out in the fresh air . Lockers swallow up your 20p though so remember you can only open it once.

The outdoor pool is cool, but the guards are disinterested - slow swimmers in fast lane, fast swimmers in slow lane ... ????But there is a sauna by the pool now

Great location and plenty of outdoor sun area however it’s very crowded on a nice day and the bathrooms/changerooms are horrible. Not nice at all.

Great central location and squash courts

It's a 30 yard pool, not a 25m pool. Worth remembering if you think you're swimming slower than normal.

Take flip flops, there’s salt laid in winter!

Not one but two pools (one outdoor!) and slap bang in the West end

£2.90 to 'hire' a towel here. Daylight robbery...
