Make sure to checkout the deli counter and prices on frozen and salted fish . Always a great value on meats. Wish they sold ground turkey and chicken otherwise my only store I buy meat from!
Try the sweet Italian sausage that they sell in packs of 4 links. Fry them in oil for 10 mins then add water, wine or sherry and let simmer for 15 mins. Reduce liquid for a sauce.
Buy prosciutto here. It is 40% cheaper than supermarkets
Coconut water is a bargain here!
Além dos produtos portugueses e brasileiros, vale a pena vir pra comprar carnes. O açougue deles é muito bom e mais barato que os grandes supermercados .
