One of the best museums I've ever visited!You will need a lot of time to visit this excellent museum . The bad thing is that some sections are only in German...The mining section was a great experience
Good museum with a wide range of collection. Has a lot of stuff you can physically interact with in Physics section - fun and educating for everybody. Don't miss the sundial garden in the top floor.
Awesome science museum . Reserve a day or so to go through it. Several descriptions are not fully in English. Many interactive displays. Demos and Planetarium shows only in German.
Large museum similar to Smithsonian in breadth. Mostly dedicated to the sciences and technology with some hands on exhibits . Dedicate about two hours minimum if you want to hit all the exhibits .

Amazing meusium that has a wide range so everyone will enjoy it. it is a very physical museum and there are lots of buttons to press and cogs to turn. Also at the top you can get some good pics.
Great exhibition ! Make sure you have plenty of time to spend there, cause it’s really big with so many interesting things to see. The view from the higher level is amazing

If you have been to the science museum in San Franscisco you will not impressed. Some exhibits still in German ONLY. Bring your Google along to translate LOL.

This place is an engineer 's paradise. Every exhibit you could imagine, and all super interactive. There's something for everyone, and you need a full day here.

Nice museum , with amazing indoor playfacilities in the basement for kids of any age. (Bring rainboots +clothes since the have a big waterplaying area) Including restaurant and shop with nice giveaways
Requires at least half a day to visit. It is very huge and amazing. You can see the historical progress.
WOW! Now this is a science museum for the true science geek. They don't have one of each, they have one of each ever made (printing press, computers,etc. You can get lost in here.

We spent 3 hours and still missed some stuff. Tons of cool exhibits including mining, airplanes, textiles and more.

Great museum . Boats, planes , steam engines etc. The kids loved it too. Many hands on exibitions.

It will be a disappointment for those who have been to the Science Museums in Paris, San Francisco and London. It seems the museum hasn't been updated since the 70s.

Seems like a good museum , but it's not friendly to non German speakers. Many sections have no English explanations at all! If you have a German speaking friend- bring him, because you'll need him
take a sneak peak on saturday and sunday at 16 o clock for one hour - free entrance for the last opening hour
Free of charge if you get here one hour before the closing time. But then you will probably miss many things :( this museum is huge!

Make sure to check out the Traffic Section to find an Auto Union Type C. For many years, this was the only known example of the Auto Union silver arrows to survive the war.
Best Museum . Must see- but come early and with good walking shoes . It is huge.
There are exhibits for many days. The highlight in my opinion is the giant coal mine labyrinth!
