Estate Walk is a hiking trail Gianyar located in Indonesia.
COMO Shambhala Estate Gianyar Bali Indonesia
The estate walk takes about an hour to complete on foot. It starts from the tennis court , & passes Ayung River & the spring pools, before attempting the 300-steps climb back to the villas
The trail near the river opens up to an open space where the resort sets up lunch picnics . Romantic as an idea, but not when loud groups paddle past in their rafts ????
U will need strong legs & a strong heart to climb some of the steeper slopes . The stairs help. Take your time; the walk is not a race
The trail brings you near to the Ayung River . Stay long enough & u will sport groups doing white-water rafting
The path leads right under many of the terraced villas that hug the sides of the valley
Wear comfortable shoes since u will be walking for an hour. I was wearing my running shoes
Lots of butterflies in the valley. They add cheer to the walking activity
Surprised to see a shelter along the trail
Some of the most amazing food in Bali. Shame for those on the cleanse program, as you can only watch others eat the amazing food. Beef Randang and Nasi Going look tasty - Scott Bales
Sautéed tofu with flavourful moringa leaf dhal & spelt chapatti. Served with bean poriyal, chickpea masala & ginger chutney. Colourful & love the aroma from the spices used - Cheen The Curious
You must get the wonton soup. It’s incredibly good. - Paul Rasmussen
