Cheen The Curious

The estate walk takes about an hour to complete on foot. It starts from the tennis court , & passes Ayung River & the spring pools, before attempting the 300-steps climb back to the villas

Cheen The Curious

The trail near the river opens up to an open space where the resort sets up lunch picnics . Romantic as an idea, but not when loud groups paddle past in their rafts ????

Cheen The Curious

U will need strong legs & a strong heart to climb some of the steeper slopes . The stairs help. Take your time; the walk is not a race

Cheen The Curious

The trail brings you near to the Ayung River . Stay long enough & u will sport groups doing white-water rafting

Cheen The Curious

The path leads right under many of the terraced villas that hug the sides of the valley

Cheen The Curious

Wear comfortable shoes since u will be walking for an hour. I was wearing my running shoes

Cheen The Curious

Lots of butterflies in the valley. They add cheer to the walking activity

Cheen The Curious

Surprised to see a shelter along the trail
