Cycling, running and walking. Not bad in the late afternoon as the tree coverage is dense over most paved trails . Herds of deer throughout the day so do obey the speed limit.
Great place for running, hiking , bike riding & dog walking. Park has a couple of soccer fields & baseball fields . Be on the lookout for wildlife !
I love everything about this park ! There's lots to do! Only complaint I have is the dog park . We have 3 small Yorkies and wish they could play in the park but their is way to many big dogs!
This park is huge and there are a lot of trails either on the track or man made. There is a ton of space and if you are a Geocacher this is a great place to do so.
This park is so huge and there's bound to be something you like to do here! I only wish there was some water or lake with jet-skiing or paddle-boating. Nice, friendly dog park , though!
The Blue loop is a nice meandering cross-country path. Fairly well marked-> look for white posts with blue stripe. Got slightly lost on back side. Parking lot at trailhead filling up at 9:30 Saturday
Great place for watching airplanes come in for landing at SAT when there's a wind from the south.
Be ready to explore and walk a few of the paths and trails .Find the large playscape that has the rock climbing walls.
Riding on the paved path in the park minding my own business and came across a 3' rattle snake right in the middle of the path. There not just in the woods anymore. Be alert!
Their dog park for both little and big doggos!!!
With a dog park , two playgrounds , and enough trails to keep even the marathoner happy there's something for the whole family
LOTS of great trails . Parking can be tricky, but there's lots of it.
Nice scenic running and biking trails , but be sure you know where you're going; it's easy to get lost.
Playground it's so fun especially the giant steep long slide !!!????
Where there are two playgrounds for kids and a soccer field
Some good trails for running. Lots of rocks though.
Take your bug spray and lots of water! Did I mention bug spray ?
Nice paved trails in the area.
Bluebonnets were on bloom. Trails are nice.
Nice bathrooms and habituated deer
I loved it, but no basketball court .
Awesome trails !!!
Deer with horns are not to be messed with. Mesquitos are all over the place after a rain.
To get here use the Bitters exit. It's the easiest way. :)
Nice, wooded park . Short paved trails if you are running w/jogging stroller. Kinda rough/patchy.
Great place to run trails if you're tired of using sidewalks and tracks .
Training for rambler
Nice dog park
Lots of deer here today! They look pretty
Start EARLY!
Find all the geocaches in this park !
