Venice Beach

Great beach ! Not too crowded , free parking , bathrooms , and a snack bar !

There are lifeguards during certain hours. Sand is coarse and dark, but still great. A nice beach to visit and find sharks ' teeth.

This beach seems a lot less crowded than others nearby. The sand is more coarse here than places like Siesta Key , so wear a good pair of sandals for walking around.

Nice beach with facilities and parking . The sand here is not quite as white and powdery as siesta key but still a nice place to hang out and get some sun!

Stop by Sharkey's on the beach for food/drink and check out the pier that allows you to walk out over the Gulf!

Easy access from parking Lots and public transit. Smaller crowds compared to Siesta Beach .

Love the beach yoga at 8 am every day! Elin is an awesome instructor encouraging everyone to work at their own pace!

It's a little less crowded than other local beaches , but it also doesn't have the best sand quality. Good fishing spot .

Easy parking and short walk to the beach

Parking is free, but there isn't too much. I'd suggest getting there between 9 and 10 am during peak season (Feb-Apr). Watch out for the sea gulls...they are crazy if you have food out.

Absolutely gorgeous beach ....sand is so soft & the water was warm.

Very relaxing beach , away from the hussle and bussle of Siesta. Parking can be tricky... go get there a little early for sunset !!

Not the best stretch for shark teeth but the snack bar is nice - we love the pina coladas !

There is a new beach chair and umbrella rental company there everyday. Rent your equipment there- save time and money!

If you park on the grass watch out for fire ants .

Lovely beach . Sharkys bar and grill for lunch or dinner is a must. Awesome atmosphere and great food, cocktails and beachside location

Parking was easy (or we were lucky). Couldn't find any shark teeth sadly.
