South Jetty / Humphris Park
Humphris Park, on the southern side of the Venice Jetty, provides a beautiful overlook of the channel connecting the Gulf of Mexico to the Intracoastal Waterway. It is a favorite spot of locals and tourists to watch the sunset and to fish for snook, mangrove snapper or sheepshead.

Absolutely one of the best outdoor chill spots in the area. Great scenery, a variety of wildlife [dolphins included!] and a generally quiet atmosphere . I hear the fishing is pretty good too!
