Super tiny but it has a lot of info. They have a ton of info. You have to walk into the coffee shop to get to it, there are no signs on the outside. They are moving later this year to a larger space.
The museum is small but it is amazing. The girl who helped me (can not remember the name) is cute and knows everything about burlesque . Recommend giving tip (minimum $ 5) or buy something.
Las Vegas: The history of striptease, through the eyes of Dixie Evans , "The Marilyn Monroe of Burlesque ." Be sure to call ahead to see when she's working. She gives guided tours ! -IFC Viewer
Really interesting, but a lot smaller than I thought it would be. They didn't really cover a lot of the big name burlesque stars. Worth checking out though.
Be sure to stop in on Sunday afternoon, when 84 y.o. dancer Dixie Evans (the Marilyn Monroe of Burlesque ) is there, signing autographs and telling stories!
Most awesome show I've ever been to. Make a plan now for 2011's show. And be prepared by dressing to the nines.
Tassels made by Dirty Martini !
Be sure to donate in the lil box up front
