SMALL! So forgive ppl who bump into you. But well worth a visit. The people working there are all really nice. The menu (tapas ) is hanging from the ceiling! So cool, and not something you everyday.
Duck hearts are juicy & have a S.E Asian flavor that is quite subtle. Great wine / tapas bar : casual place with high bar stools, fast serve, not good for groups , variety served with bordier butter.
My favorite place to eat ever, the atmosphere, music , small plates heavenly made, all the people in the best mood. One of a kind plece to eat and spend a good time in always lovely paris
Spain has tapas ; Venice have cicchetti and Paris has L'Avant Comptoir. Excellent French food in a cozy service ritual. Pied de cochon; foie gras ; ox tail Corsican wine , can't get better than this.
At this elbow-to-elbow “hors d’oeuvres bar ,” the bread basket is communal, but the foie gras skewers and boudin noir macarons are just for you. More places to eat like a local: tandl.me/12ufz7c
Love this gem. Pull up to the standing counter & order endless dishes of deliciousness while sipping on wine by the glass. Daily specials on the chalk board and the full menu is hanging above — fun!!
Crazy good apero place, an affordable high quality gem in Saint Germain. You'll have to stand and order things listed both on ceiling and on daily menus . Good values and friendly staff
Tasty tapas with decent prices and excellent service! House made blood sausage was delicious!! Stand-up bar and gets busy quickly towards dinner time. Cool decor with menu hanging from ceiling.
This is the best place in all of Paris. Cheap , delicious wine and French tapas , great staff , and fun atmosphere . Also, communal bread and butter is delicious!
Amazing crepes and sandwiches . They are huge, filling and surprisingly cheap for the quality. The stand up bar is also good. They serve some amazing fresh bread .
Crêpes up front and pork (Ibaïona) in the rear. Standing room only at Yves Camdeborde’s tapas and wine bar , a hit since it opened in fall of 2009. Go during the off hours. A great neighborhood option
Go with the flow... Grab a wine , just tell them what you like and they will figure it out. Camembert , codfish croquettes and ham . Be happy. You're welcome
Artichoke and cured ham waffles ; the hand-churned Bordier butter, set on the bar for everyone to share; and a wine recommendation from friendly barman Eric. Read more
Amazingly good food and fair prices . Glass of wine 3.50 and tapas around 6 and filling. Very friendly staff . Only standing, no tables. Will be back for sure.
Charcuterie plate is very large and tasty
For the love of god, order the Gauffre Jambon Artichaut . Best bite in Paris
Oh my god... Just shut up and come here. They do with artichokes and ham what Picasso did to art . They speak English, serve you well ... Just... Come here already.
The pork belly is amazing. Standing room only and it definitely gets busy. Their crepes are great too (order at the counter before you walk in).
Asked the waiter if anything was modifiable and he responded “being vegetarian is your problem, not mine”. I’m not... I just wanted something with veggies . He got nicer. Still stings though.
Incredible! Fave place in Paris. Get the stuffed pied de Cochon! And don't forget about the creperie out front- A+++
Fantastic food. I travel paris often and the world for food and this place I think has been the most satisfying in terms of quality, presentation, service, taste, and cost. Come 30 min before open.
Good for tapas and wine . Get there around 18h30 in order to get a place to stand (standing room only and no reservations ).
Hands-down the best value food in Paris and most jovial atmosphere. Prop self at counter, select glass of wine , charcuterie , and small plates . Daily specials always great: pig ears , tripe are faves.
Just ask Thomas to pick four or five different things for you - Trust him! My faves are macaron de boudin noir, pork belly , jambon/fromage plate and lots of white wine to wash it all down!
Amazing tapas . Good price, taste and wine . Try the gauffre jambon artichaut , hot foie gras with pepper , cheese with cherries and much more! Awesome place!!!
From noon to midnight, packed with folks ordering finger foods—ham croquettes , duck confit sausage hot dogs , fried Parmesan cheese puffs—from the drop-down ceiling menu and chalkboard daily specials .
Great food and service! Their Brittany scallops r a must! And the complementary bread and salted butter r to die for
Part of Yves Camdeborde's Saint Germain empire along with restaurant Le Comptoir and Hotel Le Relais (all in the same building) this small shop serves small plates of delicious basque cuisine
It felt like a gastronomy toy store , with every dish presented in its own board hanging at the ceiling. Delicious French tapas ! Unique place!
This wine and tapas spot is a really fun place to have a glass or four of wine , enjoy the piles of butter on the counter, and eat some beef carpaccio . I
Very reasonable but tasty tapas and wine . Carpaccio at €6.50 is a must order. Mushroom is something you can't miss.
Amazing experience! Menu is on the ceiling and everything we ate was delicious. Wine + small plates = fabulous.
Great atmosphere, feel like dancing after one glass of wine ! Super convenient way of putting the menu above your heads! Must visit
I have tried saint jacque snack with celery- it was amazing taste! This is the seasonal menu from today
Oysters heaven! They are so fresh and delish. You can order non fish dishes next door and have it all together at the same restaurant .
Two words- beef carpaccio ! Awesome service and since there's no seating, it's a great way to meet new people!!
Favorite tapas ! Its easy to pick off the menu hanging off the ceiling. And don't be shy to ask for recommendations!
Fun French tapas , stand up wine bar style. There's a seafood version next door. Try the foie gras macaron !
From noon to midnight, the place is packed with folks ordering Yves' fantastic finger foods—ham croquettes , duck confit sausage hot dogs , fried Parmesan cheese puffs .
Waffle Jamon , Foie Gras macaron (!!), saumon with nori , bread and lots of butter!
Interesante concepto del menú colgando del techo. | Interesting concept of menu hung from the ceiling. Fast paced. Lively atmosphere .
Nice place to taste organic Wines , great tapas and a escape from touristic Places.
As a "tapitas" lover, I had to come here. Small French bites and the best wine ???? .
Absolutely delicious standing "tapas " style bar , the seared tuna and mushrooms were particularly delicious
Nice french tapas , amazing selection of wines , great butter and bread .
This place has so many delicious dishes it’s really hard to choose! Luckily, you don’t have to: the menu is tapas-style so you can try a little of everything!
The cheese board was really tasty and good value ! Cool trendy vibe. Service was really friendly !
Get the saucisson. And a few glasses of wine . Don't skip the haricot verts
Love it!! Better moving space during lunch time, too crowded in the evening... You can not have the crepe inside, only the hors d'ouvres. Try the gaufre w/ artichokes & ham
Tight space. And by tight I mean really elbow to elbow tight. There is no wine list . Just point or ask for a suggestion. Also place your whole order at once. It is difficult to place orders afterwards
The cheese plate = probably the best cheese I’ve ever eaten. The staff also chose a great wine based on what we described as our preferences. Small interior but worth the crowd for the food and wine! - Aysu Ozgur
A fantastic, cozy wine bar, great for dates and open until 2 am. Not easy to find, but well worth it. - Ashley B
Great wine list and selection of small plates. Arrive early, it fills up fast - Phil Katz
One of my favourite parks in Paris. A traditional French park but with some grass spots that are good for a picnic. - Melforss
Love love love the bone marrow! So worth it! To say everything was amazing is an understatement. Best meal in Paris! - Lisa Wiedmeyer
Nice! Oysters are great! Lobster with corn and almond soup and chipirones with chorizo are fantastic! - Raul Valle
