Gum Wall is a monument Pike Place Seattle located in United States.
1428 Post Aly (at Pike St) Seattle , WA 98101 United States
This wall is just ... phenomenal. An amazing local piece of art similar to the locks of love of Paris. Say it with gum! Don't have any? The Pike Place shops sell them for 25 cents/piece!
The germaphobe in me shudders, however the Gum Wall is cool to look at, just no touchies! While you're down there, slip into the Alibi Room for a pint and pie (pizza pie ), it's a semi-hidden gem.
Save some money. Just pull some gum off the wall, chew it yourself and reapply like it's your own. Fun!! Try some red and green. Yummers!!! ;-)
So gross but so cool. Grab a pack of gum and leave your mark in Seattle!!
Fascinating & gross at the same time! LOL ???? The Wall was cleaned off a few years ago but it didn’t take long to get filled back up! ????????????♀️
What can you say about a classic place to visit. A MUST see in Seattle
Very unique and cool landmark . Definitely picture worthy!
I have not bought a single pack of gum since discovering this place. I’d estimate I’ve saved over $360 which has gone straight into my 401k
Just like it says it is, a wall of gum. Bring your own to stick up before you leave!
Gross yet artful . You have to be there to experience it! If you think you might be stepping on some gum....... you most likely are.
The power wash this wall once a year// you don’t want to be here to smell that.
If you come here to visit and take pictures, try your best to hunt for Kurt Cobain's contribution to the gum wall. I'll bet you can't find it.
Come with a fairly firm constitution, because this collaboration public work is kind of creepy.
Grab some bubble gum and prepare to be grossed out with the infamous gum wall in Pike Place Market . It's the dirtiest work of art you ever will see, but should not miss.
When you turn the corner into the alley, a wave of bubble gum scent fills the air. I didn't touch the wall or contribute.
Difficult to find. It’s the alleyway on the right side which leads you down to the gum wall.
Gum was once known as Chicle! Which came from the bark of trees that the native Americans used to just chew for no reason. Gum sure does have a sticky history!!!
The best photo opps call for checking your soles before you get into your car... your shoes will be sticky with fallen soldiers from this monument .
Don't come here at night. When here in the day there is the small Post Alley Park nearby to take a rest.
Worth going though it is very busy!
This wall gets cleaned annually so avoid that week if you were hoping to see alllll the walls covered in gross used gum. Gross but still kinda cool
Seattle's Gum Wall - an absolute, must visit, if you are showing tourists around!
make sure to bring your own gum so you can add to the collection!
Gets packed on the weekend.
This was legitimately one of the most disgusting things I’ve ever seen in my life. -1/10, would not visit again.
The place is shady but if you go around 2 pm, the lighting is good enough for photos. Whatever you do, do NOT touch the wall.
Another quick Seattle must-see attraction . You can smell the germs in the air though :D
Must visit for tourists ! Very odd but very fun!
Its exactly what it sounds like.
A wired but fun place to visit. Great photo op.
Try the strawberry pineapple swirl, it'll make your head spiral!
Weird but a must see. Pretty funny if you look close.
I wouldn't recommend touching the wall, unless you're going to immediately wash your hands. Cool spot though!
apart from the novelty, honesty quite gross . the smell of gum is thick in the air. watch your step, as there is also occasionally fresh gum on the ground .
Worth a photo. I've never added my own gum, though.
Take a picture of a heart then share it with the world around you. One love!
How an stupid idea can spread and become a cool tourist attraction .
Place to visit, I know it was cleaned but will grow again lol
after many cleanings this is still here. i liked it, while my travel companions were disgusted. lol
Gross and amazing at the same time.
The dirtiest work of art you ever will see, but should not miss.
Add your own gum, but do so carefully.
Watch out for sticky gum on the floor !
Must see in Seattle
The only place other than the trash to leave your gum.
Cool place to visit.
Touristy and so fun.
Iconic photo time. It’s free. Come on, why not?
Who started it all..that's the question
Place your piece of gum , take a picture, and move along. LOL
