Harper Theater

The theater is very clean , the staff was friendly and the prices for the movies and extras wasn't outlandish. It beats going downtown, worrying about parking and coughing up a lung to afford it all!

I’m so glad this theater was brought back. I grew up watching so many movies here. Prices are better than any theater in the city . Good drinks and themes for certain movies . And it’s very clean !

Get there early if your going to a early evening weekend movie . They still have not figured out how to move a crowd thru fast enough. I got it, 2 ticket agents and more people at concessions

The Groupon for this place is amazing. Look for it; admission, two popcorns , and two drinks for about 15 bucks. Win.

For my first time visit it was not pleasant. Arrived to purchase tickets early and waited additional 20 minutes in concession line . Only one person working ticket booth and concession .

To me this is the perfect sized theatre. Love the bar too

I could overhear other movie playing in my theater. This place was a good idea but the space is too small for a theater.

Getting your tickets can take some time (even if you pre-order) so be sure to arrive at least 20 min early.

Small theaters but they serve alcohol which is a definite plus.

Groupon has two tickets, two medium popcorns , two medium drinks, and a designated a candy for $20.

All shows before 6:00 p.m. are only $6.00. 10% discount at nearby Clarke 's with ticket stub.

It's all about the matinees and discounts . $2 well scotch .

Matinée prices now up to $7.00 and they don't open till 3:45pm on weekdays.

Best bar on 53rd st. Strong mixed drinks

This place is super small. No security present. My husband walked through and no one stopped him. It wasn't that clean , there were missing numbers on the seats which makes it hard to find your seat.

More affordable theater in chicago, not a huge selection of movies .

Get a cup of Metropolis for your movie !

The matinee is $6 before 6pm. Nice!!

Movie stub gets you 10% off at nearby Clarke 's.

Only one person available to purchase tickets from. A fight almost broke out and staff was no where to be found. Theatre feels like your in a tight bedroom with to many chairs. Won't be back!

The concession stand is super slow... plan for it!

Not a great 1st time experience if I come here again it will be when they first open never afternoon,evening again it's Chaos #NoBueno

My first time here since they reopened. Disappointed because the theater was filthy from the last movie ...no one bothered to clean afterwards. Did get a manager.

Theatre is still open during construction .

Not enough staff , theatre seats were extremely tight and uncomfortable. I'll continue to go to AMC theatre.

They won't give you a refund!! I don't like the place why would I want a complimentary ticket to come back!?!
