Today was my first time at Chant. It's very much a stop-&-go style bistro , but not in a bad way. Good for casual lunch-break dates in my opinion. I would visit again. Mango Chile Brûlée is to die for!
Bar food dishes are nice. I thought the noodle dishes were "lighter" (in a good way) than say noodles on 57th
Phenomenal duck dishes , but mind the cocktails ! Those things will sneak up on you and are more potent than one would expect.
Their duck tacos and honey Chipotle wings are delicious!! Also, they have some of the best martinis !
The lobster rangoon was really good...the chicken fried rice with broccoli , gailon, eggplant and cabbage was delicious.
Thai Hummus is the bomb! Lots of menu changes since I was last here, all great!
Nice smooth and refreshing laid back after work kinda drink...
The Chant shrimp plate and avocado rolls were so delicious.
Hey Chant, you should join Freebie! It’s pretty rad and the benefits are great for both you and me. Check it out! <aclass="entity url"rel="nofollow" href="http://taps.io/freebie"target="_blank" data-sig="vNFDijdwyL9vuT7YLPmRaYD5LGU=" onmousedown="fourSq.ui.OutgoingLink.mousedown($(this), event)" data-source="tip-text">http://taps.io/freebie</a>
I love the pad thai .
Head here for the Szechuan beef and a really great Pomegranate martini . Stay for the live jazz and chocolate flourless cake .
Nice Asian food spot in Hyde Park .
The Shrimp & Grits 👍👍
Warm and trendy atmosphere.
Good for groups , but can be a little pricey .
Chang's Beer , Pumpkin Coconut Soup , and pad tai = wonderful combination
Try the pumpkin & coconut soup and the in-house pear martini courtesy of TMFD!
I also had the Flaming Shrimp ... meh. The Scallion Cream Chicken was an okay dish & Wasabi Mashed Potatoes were good.
Service takes way too long...they take long to get your order, to get your appetizers , to get you entree, to get your drink, to get your bill...ugh just too darn long
Check out Freebie Chant, its awesome! <aclass="entity url"rel="nofollow" href="http://taps.io/freebie"target="_blank" data-sig="vNFDijdwyL9vuT7YLPmRaYD5LGU=" onmousedown="fourSq.ui.OutgoingLink.mousedown($(this), event)" data-source="tip-text">http://taps.io/freebie</a>
Great lunch specials 2 can eat for $22.00
The Pear Martini is delicious
The Pad tai is the best in Chicago. Period.
Food was really overpriced and much too salty. Coming from a Scandinavian, that says something. Don't try the fried noodles . The way in which they fried them just made them taste like uncooked.
Flaming Shrimp Pasta...FIYA!!! :-)
I love the Pad Thai spicy . Yummy
Curry chicken is off the chain
Blanket Shrimp and beer ... The best
Large soups are easily enough for two. Try the paella with pulled pork. Sounds weird; tastes great. - Scott Sachnoff
TORCHED SALMON (smoked salmon, crispy shrimp, sweet potato, avocado, spicy mayo) - ISC Chicago
I’m so glad this theater was brought back. I grew up watching so many movies here. Prices are better than any theater in the city. Good drinks and themes for certain movies. And it’s very clean! - Tommy Smalls
What an awesome place! Love the industrial look, high cealings, tons of light, cool lighting! Nice place for brunch and i believe for cocktails/ drinks - maite a
Kilwins is the best! Excellent service even better treats!!! - Spoiled'Pooh Evans
