My favorite beach so far!! Its not crowded . & parking is close to the beach .
It’s like most other south shore beaches in the area. There’s a discount led rate for ToH residents. It’s a small cozy beach for those that don’t want the crowds like at bigger beaches .
I love Point Lookout. Short walk to the water, not too crowded , kid-friendly. Fun to watch the lifeguards practice.
Check the water temp before you go...very nice beach to bring the family
Beautiful. Just enough people. Doesn't get overcrowded. Can't wait until next summer.
2014 $10 residents $25 non residents
If you love to body board this is the place for you. A whole section is dedicated to bodyboarders. For people who live outside of Hempstead township parking is $25 but within $8.
Happy place!!!
favorite beach
Great option to escape the crowds of Long Beach . Stay on the South side where it's clear and beautiful. The North side tends to wash up seaweed .
Beachin'it
It was great
Bring bug spray... The biting flies are real pests...
Beware of manbearpig. Last spotted June 2007.

Located just east of Long Beach , this town beach has great sand and ocean on Long Island 's South Shore
It's a good town beach . This is a great place to take the family, and spend the day.
Hello Vince

Quiet and serene
Hands down best south shore LI beach (and close to Marvel). Usually quiet, always clean, super soft sand, basic snack stand. $8 for residents way more $ if you're not. - Mel B
Always have to stop when I'm in the area. My go to is the pistachio. Make it a brown bonnet too! - Mary O
Great sushi counter! The fish is so fresh and the sushi chef is great! - M M
Go with the homemade crab dishes. I had the crab cake bacon grilled cheese. Amazing. - Edmund O'Neill
