Its close to the Liberty Bell, and the food is worth the 15 min queue. You might not get a place to sit at 6:30 pm but most people do takeouts. The classic with provolone and onion was yum, good meat!
Great cheesesteak joint . Better than Campo's. Keep it real with provolone , grilled onions , lettuce and tomato . Lots of other toppings for free or cost. Fries were ok, crazy fries seemed interesting.
One of the best places that makes good burger ! In Philadelphia. I recommend to try American cheese burger with all vegetables .. So yummmmmmy ????????
Veeeeeeeeeery good. I have no idea how this is so tasty. The bread is pretty trashy, I took American cheese which I usually find trash too and the steak is okay but together it works perfectly! Wow
Had low expectations while visiting Philly to try this dish but it’s just delicious. Juicy, full of flavour, filling, everything ticks the box
We like the cheese steaks here over Pat's and Geno's. Need to get extra cheese if you like wiz. The peppers they put on have a pickle flavor and were yummy.
Very good. There was no where for us to sit so we got it to go & ate in our car! Worth the few minute wait. Pay attention on how to order.
Melt in your mouth Philly cheesesteak . Hoagie bread is soft and complements the juicy meat wonderfully. Do yourself a favor and eat here before leaving town !
The classic, also cheese fries if you are super hungry. If you are going to splurge on a cheese steak go all in
Best cheesesteaks in Old City . Big enough to split, unless you are famished. Can get crowded so you may have a wait. But worth it.
This place is legit! Forget Geno & Pat’s. This why you come to Philly and they cut your cheese steak in half.
This is by far the best tasting cheese steak in Philly! Cash is king and it is made fresh to order so expect to wait a bit for your food.
I went with the classic and French fries . Great food. Whenever I'm in Philly I try and stop here.
Worth the wait in line ! Loaded cheesesteak was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had
I prefer Jim's but the bread is super fresh and these are smaller (so less of a bomb). Shorter lines than Jim's, Pat's or Gino 's.
Come for the cheesesteak , stay for the Crazy fries - fries covered in cheese wiz, bacon , jalapenos and onions
Delicious Philly cheesesteak . Keep it traditional with cheesesteak and cheese whiz .
Apparently the best Philly Cheese Steak sandwich in town - was great!
Good cheesesteaks , dive atmosphere, crowded at lunch .
The cheese steak is good I m going back anytime anynight
Very good first experience with phili cheesesteak . Try the provolone and sweet pepper with some onion rings or some fries .
First time here and I did expect more being from NYC. The Bacon Cheese Steak isn't bad but I want a beast of a sandwich .
Great impression of Philly cheesesteaks ! Not as busy as some of the other famous places
The onion rings are GREAT! And the burger is good, too.
The service is okay, the cashier made a comment to my mother that wasn't appropriate but the other staff was very friendly . The chicken tenders are good + the cheesesteaks are tasty but not the best.
Damn you straight to hell, Sonny! I've gorged myself on this nearly perfect cheesesteak and now nothing means anything any more.
Very authentic . They go light on the spice so you can dress it up with hot peppers , hot sauce or mustard . Definitely a 'to-do' if you are in PHL
Amazing cheesesteak and fries
Cheesesteak is good. Good fries
Pizza steak & pepperoni steak were both solid
Solid cheesesteak within walking distance of Independence National Park .
Their burger is good
Fries are great. Chicken cheese steak is whole chunks of chicken . Interesting, but I think I prefer the traditional, minced up style of other places.
I am glad I popped in.....A very good cheesesteak .
Get the Classic, best served w/ a free side of sarcasm!
Bacon cheesesteak was amazing
The cheesesteaks are the best!!!
Sonny's Cheesesteak with onions , mushrooms , peppers and whiz ????
Close to all the tourist attractions
Sonny's Cheesesteak with mushrooms , peppers and whiz ????
Cheesesteak !
The classic extra whiz might be the best in town .
Love their French fries !
Mediocre at best. I hear its great some days. This was not one. The bread was nothing special the meat was dried out and there was very little cheese . I've had better cheesesteaks in New York.
Call your order in ahead during tourist season.
Not even remotely the best cheese steaks in the area.
Head over after the Old City lunch rush. They’re not as busy after 3pm.
Great steaks ...yummy yummy yummy
Milkboy's steaks are better!
Cheesesteak wProvalone & onions , cheese fries & cherry Coke . Yummy.
