It's just absolutely stunning - pure fantasy adventure, implausibly constructed , amazing place. I went on a pretty grey day and stuff felt overwhemed by its size. 100% worthwhile.

Amazing waterfalls . Be careful in winter as the paths can be sure slippy especially when there's rain or a thaw after the snow.

I had goose bumps approaching the magnificent golden waterfall . Majestic, overwhelming, and utterly beautiful. Mother Nature at her best. Do not miss it.

The most beautiful waterfall in Iceland . Big and amazing with many view and photo spots to take photos. There are two parking slot and there is a cafe to enjoy a coffee or tea .

Impressive waterfall . Go all the way to the end near the river (and even a bit further). Scary for some but absolutely breathtaking . Arrive early and absorb the massive power all by yourself.

If you just want to check out the falls (and not the building with food, souvenirs, and restrooms ) there is a lower level parking lot very close to the lower viewing platform .

For me the most important attraction of the golden circle along with geysir. Too cold and slippery. Take a lot of pics.

There is an idiot on here who calls himself Tom L. He is saying that you should ignore the warning signs at Gullfoss. This is such bullshit and can be deadly so do NOT do it. Tom, you are a fool.

The boardwalk can get quite slippery even when there's not yet snow - watch your step or stick to the rocks!

Head up river to the end of the path, jump the fence or take the ladder, cross the frozen stream and head to the rock piles for another great vantage point.
