First a horse rendering plant , then a 19th century landfill, this beach of glass is scavenger heaven! http://atlasobscura.com/place/dead-horse-bay

No signs are there to help, but worry not! Park at Floyd Bennett Field parking lot , then cross the busy street. Look for a path near the crosswalk and follow it straight back, about a 5-10 min walk.
