Anything on the menu is really good. If you like garlic , ask them for some fresh cloves and their garlic crusher to put in your soup .
Yamadaya is my favorite ramen . It's got such a strong flavor, plus they do spicy right. The fresh garlic is awesome too. Besides that, their gyoza and takoyaki are the best too.
Get the spicy ramen (level 1) & ask for a side of crushed garlic . You're welcome. ;)
Tonkotsu kotteri ramen is the way to go. Broth is so good. But service is spotty. We finished our entire meal and still waiting for 1 dish!
The takoyaki (octopus balls/fritters) are really good! Get them to-go for a snack later on! 8 is definitely enough :D
Order their tsukemen and ask for lemon (to squeeze on your noodle when halfway done) since they don't have lime . It is comparable to Tsujita's. And you don't have to go to west LA.
Tonkotsu kotteri (pork bone stock) is the way to go! Chicken ramen is weak. Bowls are big.
Tonkotsu with garlic and extra noodles = food coma. So good, the gyoza on the other hand is a pass for me.....
Spicy ramen is good. It's extra for jalapeño spice.
Agedashi tofu is really good. Slightly sweet and savory, lightly deep-fried tofu squares (2).
Ramen is food, but the soup is on the heavier side. Try the chicken/fish soup instead.
Pork broth , any. 4 oz. Pork belly oh my! First time here, DEFINITELY coming back.
New Business Hours: M-F 11:30am-3pm, 5:30pm-10pm. Sat-Sun 11:30am-10pm (no break time). Open 'til 10pm everyday!
They have weird opening hours, but the ramen is nonetheless delicious.
Butakakuni ramen is the bomb! Heart-warming and delicious!
show your student ID you'll get an extra ramen noodle :) !!!
Make sure u get black garlic oil if u order it. They forgat to hook me up.
Great ramen and broth, horrible gyoza !
if you have a student ID, you can get free extra noodles for your ramen .
Get the fried rice , it's amazing.
Mediocore, a little below average on customer service overall. That is not a reflection of everyone. Heads up if your in a party then they can only split the tip two ways. They won't tell you upfront.
Everything
Okay ramen , but there's so much better around the area for sure.
Very not impressed. Ask for Spicy and they toss a glop of chili paste in your undercooked Ramen
Spacious place and yummy pork belly
Floor is slippery as hell! Watch your step!
The Octopus balls.. mMm yummy ya! ! :)
Wait staff is crazy unorganized. Put yourself on the list and be prepared to wait. Or walk out like I did.
Good ramen
Thin ramen noodle
Fried chicken : not bad
Mabo dofu: it's ok
Been waiting months, for this place to finally open....
Don't try to seat yourself! They'll yell at you! Wait by the door even though there is no sign saying so
Grand opening!
More like Yummydaya, amirite??
