Second person on day one. They make their own Matcha and it shows - best in the US. The sesame angel food cake and soufflé cake were amazing as well . We will be back.
Lots of fun desserts and even savory items like the pork katsu sandwich . Seating is limited, but service is excellent, and they'll help you find a spot.
Get the matchacano if you actually want to taste matcha . Matcha lattes just taste like milk . The stonemill cake is pretty good—tastes like black sesame ice cream .
Get the katsu sando and matchazuke to share with a friend! I also love the chasu danish if you’re just looking for a snack ☺️
Katsu sando is unfortunately worth the $16. It's really flavorful and the fried pork is perfectly crispy . Try the roll cake and matcha cream pie . Friday at noon wasn't terribly crowded .
The best things on the menu are the hot matcha latte , the miso soup , the yuzu meringue tart and the AMAZING black sesame Stonemill Cake which FOR SOME REASON they don’t do during the week (Sad)
The sesame angel food cake is too sweet, but the roll is perfect. Soufflé cheesecake is not that whipped. Drinks are amazing, always order with oat milk
Matcha chocolate chip cookie , matchazuke , matcha cream pie
A modern tea house in the Mission! Very cozy , busy, and they have beautiful looking pastries and desserts !
Everything here is amazing - salmon ochazuke, ginger matcha , and black sesame cream puff are my faves. Also their granola to go is bomb
Beautiful concept that is well executed. Sesame latte good, sesame croissant with banana was excellent. Porridge was ok. Beautiful space
Don’t miss the chicken okayu porridge and a sparkling matcha . This place is such a gem!
????We need to stop loving places when you stand up during 15 mn in line then standing 15 mn for drinking your cold ( ordered hot!) matcha latte . Not a good experience. SF can be disappointing
Beautiful and delicious pastries , interesting savory food and, obviously, lots of interesting matcha drinks.
Make sure to try the matcha chocolate mochi !
Get the Katsu Sandwich and Matchazuke ! The treats are pretty good too.
Love their cream puffs ! The Stonemill Cake was also delicious. It’s a spongy cake with black sesame frosting .
Line can get kind of long during peak hours.
Very nice place! Try their matcha cake .
You can sit inside on weekdays up until 4pm. It's not currently busy so they're not particularly resistant to laptops.
Everything is delicious!! Sweets and savory!
The matcha cream pie is one of the best desserts I have ever had!
Matcha latte and the spongy Japanese fluffy cheesecake (gluten-free)!
Get the matcha latte with oat milk and the matcha cream puff !
Must get the matcha cream pie
skip the sugar w the Stonemill cake & regular sparkling matcha
Iced hojicha & a matcha cream puff makes a great combo.
Everything is great! The katsu sandwiches are exceptional!
The matcha mizudashi was great!
Matcha latte and that pork sandwich thing
Ask for your drink to go if you're a slow drinker and want to take it after you finish your meal.
Chicken okayu , pork katsu sando , and salmon matchazuke !
Sparkling Matcha with Yuzu , hold the sugar. ????
Great hojicha latte
Amazing Matcha Latte
Get the sparkling matcha with mint and lime
Chicken okayu for hearty breakfast
Can't go wrong
Grab a matcha shaved ice during the weekdays!
Ginger matcha latte !
iced hojicha latte
Delicious everything!
Pastries and matcha and salmon
Sparkling ✨ matcha
Paper straws (as of October 2018) can get soggy fast. Might need to ditch the straw if you're a slow drinker.
best matcha
