Frozen hot chocolate is a must. The shrimp salad sandwich is great, but it's not Irish soda bread . It's more like fruit bread ????. Also, the bi sensual burger is awesome but it's a bit piggy????????.
A masterpiece on its own. Everywhere you turn, you'll be wowed by their decor❤️ friendliest staff , great food (Julia's chicken salad , Cheese Ravioli ).. and the queen of them all, frozen hot chocolate !
The frozen hot chocolate is amazing. It's even great in the peanut butter flavor . Bring a datw though, because it's definitely big enough for sharing!
Haute Dog is a must even at $69. Cooked in truffle oil , the fresh bread , flown in from Germany is smothered with truffle butter and fleur de sel, and smeared with foie gras . Magnifique!
Was lucky enough to be seated before the line got crazy outside. Had Hot chocolate and “big apple ” pie for the cold weather and it was delish. I had fun on this cozy , iconic place ????
What a place! Really!! Always love the experience - from the most talked about dessert to the ambiance to the service. Always choose this place to any other for dessert craving :)
S3 is NY institution! This is a small establishment, with a menu decadent ice cream concoctions as unique as the restaurant itself. Go early to avoid the wait. Bring your camera and your appetite.
Come for the frozen hot chocolate and you won’t be disappointed! The truffle burger and tacos were average but not worth the price. Tip: Grab dinner elsewhere and come here for dessert .
The cake in the forbidden broadway chocolate Sundae took away from the rest of the delish dessert . Next time I will do the three scoop sundae w cinnamon ice cream (same thing without the cake !)
Of course, this is the perfect little dessert place. Their frozen hot chocolate is divine! However, Serendipity is great for lunch too. Must try: The Haight Ashbury sandwich ! It's absolutely fantastic
The frozen hot chocolate can be shared by 4 people! Their servings from entrees to desserts are huge! So come in here hungry or sharw your plate with a date or friend.
I know this will be an unusual tip, however ask for the perfume! It's really warming and toasty and reminds me of the happy memories of New York when I am not in the city !
Amazing, Simply Amazing! ????Try the Frozen Pineapple Lemonade , the Frozen Hot Chocolate , Chicken Livers , Chicken Pot Pie , Heck, Try Everything! LOL! So Delicious! ❤???????????? ????
Get a table upstairs. Less crowded and more Intimate. Split a Shepard's pie or an omelette and you'll still have room for the treats. Froz hot chic is to die but try the apricot smush as well .
This is one of the most famous spots in the Upper East Side, featuring delicious desserts , a hamburger menu & a history of celebrity appearances! Try the Frozen Hot Chocolate & Hamburger with Chili .
The Frozen Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate is incredible and something you won't be able to find anywhere else! The apple pie is also a delicious sweet treat if you prefer your desserts warm.
The food here was absolutely amazing! Below is their mixed grill! I had nachos lemon custard cake and the frozen hot chocolate ! I highly recommend this place!
Just like the movie , you can sit at the exact table John Cusack & Kate Beckinsale's dined in. This is a fun spot with sweet desserts and memorabilia . The Serendipidous Hot Chocolate is amazing.
Seriously get the frozen hot chocolate as a BEVERAGE. Get the BLT if you need food. And DEFINITELY don't miss the "Can't Say No Sundae ." I swear my mouth is in heaven right now OMG I might die.
Known for creating the original frozen hot chocolate , New Yorkers shouldn’t miss this dessert haven. Frrrozen Hot Chocolate is served in a large glass, topped with whipped cream and chocolate shavings
You can grab John Cusack & Kate Beckinsale's exact table from the famous movie . This is a fun spot on the Upper East Side with sweet desserts and fun memorabilia .
You can grab John Cusack & Kate Beckinsale's exact table from the famous movie . This is a fun spot on the Upper East Side with sweet desserts and fun memorabilia .
Food and drinks here are soooo good. Wish I could consume everything in one sitting. Except of the $1,000 gold drink. Everything else is good and affordable .
The BLT is so good, but you have to eat it open-faced because it's so large- Mint frozen hot chocolate is amazing and they are generous with the fudge when ordering ice cream w/ fudge
The Forbidden Broadway sundae !! It's sooo good! I didn't get the chance to try their dinner entrees I always go their for their lovely sundaes ????
The best time to go here is on a weekday afternoon between 3pm-5pm because it's not crowded and you get a sit right away. Try their frozen hot chocolate ! It's to die for! Heaven!
Andy Warhol's favorite New York Restaurant . The ambiance is great and the sundaes are the best. It is the cutest little place and you feel like its Christmas every day. Great place to bring a date.
Loved the place, it felt like time traveling. I had frozen hot chocolate and cheesecake (both very good). It's better to split, as everything is very big.
The Frrrozen Hot Chocolate is a must! The portion is huge. I'd suggest sharing it with someone. I tried the cheddar burger and it was good.
Have the frozen hot chocolate ; that's a NYC must. But pretty much everything else sucks, from the service to food. Get your name on the wait list, eat somewhere else and return for dessert .
If you're feeling a little bit crazy, get the Salted Caramel or White Frozen Hot Chocolate ! Great place for a post-theatre dessert !
Customers can sit under large hanging lamps while ordering quirky items like Cleopatra’s Barge and the Guinness Book of World Records Most Expensive Dessert , Golden Opulence Sundae for $1,000. Read more
Definitely not light or healthy but that's not the point. Get there early, book a table, and just enjoy the decadent desserts !
Everything is tasty but I personally can not eat so much whipped cream and ice cream . It’s good to share the dessert with at least 2 more people
Our party had a little bit of everything. Breakfast--French toast to die for, Lunch--burger ummm good, Dinner--Lemon Sole was rich and delicious. Save up your calorie count for this place!
Tip! Seriously! If you don't want to wait the normal 45 min+, check in with the host, chat them up, and slip a Jackson or Benjamin to be moved up next, ahead of the rest of us. What!? Yup. It's NYC.
Everything here is amazing! Specially the deserts thought. Nom
The $1,000 Golden Opulence Sundae includes: Tahitian ice cream , gold leaf, expensive chocolate , candied French fruit , Grand Passion Caviar and a souvenir crystal goblet.
"Frrrrrozen hot chocolate " of course. Combo that with "Can't say no" sundae . Take a bite of the peanut butter and banana from the sundae then take a sip of the frozen hot choco . Ahhhhsome.
The frozen hot chocolate is the number one best thing to get. But they're huge! The food is just so-so..sort of an odd assortment of entrees and sandwiches
Rachael Ray stops by Serendipity 3, for their famous Frrrozen Hot Chocolate , a popular lunch spot and ice cream shop located in a cozy brownstone on $40 a Day. Find more tips at Food Network Local. Read more
One of my favorite places in New York. It's a must stop everytime I'm in the city . Favorite serious food: Strawberry Fields Sundae .
Chocolate fudge cake with Ice cream and whipped cream . Many layers of chocolate ! To die for ????
Plan on a long line ...tight squeeze. Get a place in line and then go visit Dylan's Candy Shop. If you just want dessert , hit the pizza place across the street after you have given S III your name.
This place is magic, lovely. Try the frozen hot chocolate but try also other dessert . Dark chocolate is amazing. Both to share would be great
Salted caramel frozen hot chocolate is awesome but not as good as the regular. + I can't speak for the ladies but the men's bathroom here is amazing ah ah amazing
Splurge on the Golden Opulence Sundae , which is topped with edible gold leaf and sprinkled with Parisian candied fruits , dessert caviar and Amedei Porceleana, the most expensive chocolate on earth.
Thought everyone raves about the Frozen Hot Chocolate , which is superb, the other food here is great too! Not to mention the beautiful decor and unmatchable coziness !
I think the expectation was great! Not worth the wait! Ate a mass that was great, but the core business which is the Frozen Hot Chocolate ... I embarrassed! The appearance is better than the taste!
... I think it's called 'Tiffanys': espresso with whipped cream ...!!! It was PERFECT!!!!
