Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library & Museum

The tour guides are informative and friendly . The visitors center and the library are impressive. And, of course, the house itself is historic. Must-see for all Americans.

The first of the presidential libraries . He served 4 terms so it's lengthy. He did a lot for this country in 12 years. A great tour . he and his wife are buried here. The house he grew up in is here.

The House is neat, but the museum and library are amazing. Definitely need some time to wander through an amazing collection of FDR artifacts , presented in an informative way. I will be back!

I enjoyed the tour , and museum . The grounds are beautiful. I’d recommend bringing something to eat, because they have picnic tables on the property. Tour & museum will take approximately 3 hours

It's a great library dedicated to the longest tenured president really covers a lot of history in such a short space keeps you interested and really entertained. It's really well laid out.

Take a tour . Browse the bookstore . Plan on spending a whole day here as the displays are informative and well laid out. Extensive grounds. If the weather is pleasant take a hike .

The tour is fantastic. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly . Visit the museum to learn about our nation's history during F.D.R.'s presidency. Admission is free to veterans.

Thought the house tour was awesome!! Definitely make time for it and be sure to pepper the rangers with questions. These guys know all kinds of interesting tidbits!

The tour is a must! The tour guides are knowledgable and give great multi-perspective insight into FDR and ER's lives.

Enjoy the museum 's exhibit "The Roosevelts: Public Figures, Private Lives" on display until June 2013. It's the largest photo exhibit about the lives of the Roosevelts ever assembled.

A great place to take a stroll, but no self-guided tours through the house...you have to go with a group and it takes about an hour.

Franklin D. Roosevelt solidified the official Thanksgiving Day celebration in 1939 as the fourth Thursday of November. His home, Springwood, is also the site of the first U.S. presidential library .

very interesting place. the nation's first presidential library , and the tour takes you to the springwood home, and the museum is expansive, and you'll really enjoy yourself.

Inspiring! Another home run for the National Park Service. The mosaic map on the floor of the Visitor Center is cool.

A bit of a trek from New Paltz, but the grounds are great to walk around and the tour of the house is pretty interesting.

Buy tickets in advance online at www.recreation.gov and check in at the main guest center near the parking lot .
