The tour guides are informative and friendly . The visitors center and the library are impressive. And, of course, the house itself is historic. Must-see for all Americans.
The first of the presidential libraries . He served 4 terms so it's lengthy. He did a lot for this country in 12 years. A great tour . he and his wife are buried here. The house he grew up in is here.
The House is neat, but the museum and library are amazing. Definitely need some time to wander through an amazing collection of FDR artifacts , presented in an informative way. I will be back!
I enjoyed the tour , and museum . The grounds are beautiful. I’d recommend bringing something to eat, because they have picnic tables on the property. Tour & museum will take approximately 3 hours
It's a great library dedicated to the longest tenured president really covers a lot of history in such a short space keeps you interested and really entertained. It's really well laid out.
Take a tour . Browse the bookstore . Plan on spending a whole day here as the displays are informative and well laid out. Extensive grounds. If the weather is pleasant take a hike .
The tour we took was excellent and the guide was exceptional. The grounds are beautiful and made the perfect setting for celebrating July 4th

Enjoy the museum 's exhibit "The Roosevelts: Public Figures, Private Lives" on display until June 2013. It's the largest photo exhibit about the lives of the Roosevelts ever assembled.

A great place to take a stroll, but no self-guided tours through the house...you have to go with a group and it takes about an hour.

very interesting place. the nation's first presidential library , and the tour takes you to the springwood home, and the museum is expansive, and you'll really enjoy yourself.

A bit of a trek from New Paltz, but the grounds are great to walk around and the tour of the house is pretty interesting.
