Join our tour Stockholm Must Sees and skip the line at the Vasa Museum . The tour starts with a walk of the Old Town , we then catch the ferry to Djurgården and finish off with a visit to the Vasa.
its amazing to see Vasa after 333 years staying underwater! The statues , and the ship are unbelievable. What an honour for Swedish people to protect this history. And the entrance is 130 SEK
The museum has several levels so you can see the ship from all angles. The best section is "life on board" and the movie about Vasa. I got bored quite quickly though...
Cool and worth the visit. Discount for students. It will take you one or two hours to see everything (although apart from the boat there's not much to see). Go early, it gets crowded .
Fabulous museum with a monumental exhibit . The tour and film were both interesting. Don’t forget the lowest level for the view up to the top and the forensic examination of the bodies found on board.
Welcome to the biggest ship that remained one piece from 17th century. You will enjoy this place and expect to stay at least 1,5 hrs. Also don’t forget to watch the Vasa movie in the entrance floor.
An entire salvaged 17th naval warship housed in the building, with highly educational material on the history of the ship. The one must-do for any first time visitor to Stockholm.
Best museum in Djurgarden. Definitely make some time to visit here, try to catch a guide and listen the whole story. I strongly recommend watching the documentary film afterwards.
What a great museum ❤️ it's all about the history of one ship " the vasa" the details and hand crafting on the ship is unbelievable, as a visitor to the Swedish capital this museum is a must
A must see! The only place where you'll see a ship from this time. One of the greatest museum I've been. If you only have time for one museum , go for this one!
Marvellous! A must see if you visit Stockholm! Don't miss it out! And the price of the ticket is really fair ! 130kr in which a guided tour is included! Watch the short film first to understand!
Outstanding museum . Come here to see Wasa - a warship that sank in the Stockholm archipelago 1628, on it's first journey. Unique experience to see this sight.
The story of the ship is interesting and the ship itself is impressive. But i would not say that the museum is my first thing to see in Stockholm.
I suggest to watch the movie about the salvage and the reconstruction of the vessel before taking the tour . The location and the garden of the museum is amazing. Free entrance with the stockholm card.
Lots of other reviews will tell you this is a must see and they're all correct. It's an incredible restoration of the vessel with great exhibits . A must see indeed. Plan for at least two hours.
Nice, worthy to see. I recommend an English guided tour (every hour and every half hour) and also see the film about the Vasa ship (cca. 15 min)
There are free excursions in different languages (duration is between an half an hour or hour). Especially pay attention on an aft of the ship - it is beautiful. It is almost completely original.
Superb museum . You can check everything in less than an hour, but better save time to watch couple of movies and read through carefully
Great exhibition ! Check the guided tours , available in English. Also the movie is quite interesting. I’d say allocate (at least) two hours for the visit
A great museum . There is free English guided tour which lasts about 30 minutes. Çok etkileyici bir müzeydi. Özellikle ücretsiz İngilizce rehber turuna katılmanızı öneririm
What an amazing museum ! The boat is huge and 98% true ! The restaurant is so so but you have to watch this XVII century boat.
This is one of those must sees in Stockholm. It is mind blowing. Even if you think it won't interest you, give it a go. It will. It is easy to get lost in history looking at the Vasa.
Just awesome! Must see! The ship is amazing and the history as well ! 130SEK to get in. There are free guided tours .
Great museum , beautiful ship. If you are somehow connected with sea, this place is a must. Tickets are 150kr adult.
An absolute must-see. She's beautiful, and the museum is huge and full of interesting details. English signage for tourists . Very decent cafe , too.
This was much more interesting than I had expected. The size of the ship was impressive, and the overall exhibit was interesting. I'm glad we didn't miss this.
One of the best museums to visit due to fantastic real ship snd it’s unique story
It’s one of the best museums in the world. The ship is a marvel and the museum knows how to tell the story. Do not miss this when in Stockholm!
The ship is epic in size and beauty. Rather than use a photo of the vasa, the models are worth some attention too for being so lifelike!
Great XVII century naval warship sunk in 1628, preserved in 98% original state . Must see!
Great museum . Expect to spend 1.5-2 hours. The ship is very impressive, and the curators have done a great job of creating interesting exhibitions around it.
The Vasa Ship, soon to be 400 years old, is one of the only ships from this era that has been salvaged almost in full. This is a true WOW experience! Tour and movie , all included in the entrance fee.
For a person who doesn't really enjoy museum ,I liked this one the best..although it's kinda funny to think that I am looking at a ship that sunk during it's maiden voyage
Best museum in Stockholm . Once you arrived, make sure you watch the video first (15 minutes) to give you context about the ship. Plenty of display, expect to spend about 2 hours.
Great historical museum showcasing an old war ship that sank right after setting sail . Lots of other info and fascinating interactive displays☺️
I had an amazing time here. The exhibition is very well organised even for those who didn't know about Vasa before. She totally amazes me how mankind can builds great things
While the ship itself is amazing, what's truly impressive is previous as well as current efforts to preserve Vasa. Unreal amounts of research -- and it's fascinating to learn about.
The ship is amazing and the whole museum is well thought out. Just as I was getting sad by not being able to touch the ship, I found a part that was put on display so people can touch it.
The ship itself is one of the wonders of the world and the exhibitions are so great with amazing visualization, also suitable for kids! And it's cheap .
This is an awesome museum . The ship is huge and they explain everything that happened. It also has free WiFi so you can post pics at the moment!
Awesome museum of one ship and it's very short life. Make sure to join the short tour , which is included in the price of the ticket.
Have to see this once in your life! Amazing trip back in time, one of the best museums in the world.
A really cool museum built all around a ship that was excavated. It’s not too big, you can get through it in about an hour and a half, but was cool to stop by!
All startups trying to raise VC money before product market fit should visit this museum or read up on the Vasa
To see the ship is something from a different time, it's incredible. The museum is extremely well prepared, for people of all ages. A real MUST.
It's incredible to see how a XVOO century's warship was salvaged from the bottom of the Baltic Sea and restored to its original form. The tour is captivating and riveting. Totally worth the visit.
Recommended for a visit. Take a guided tour to learn something about the one of biggest failures in Swedish history.
it's all about a ship called Vasa which was under water for 333 years. one of the MUST SEE in Stockholm
The Vasa is truly spectacular and the history around it is fascinating. Took us 3 hours to go round and we loved every moment. Do not miss!
Amazing. Was not expecting to like this museum so much. You'll learn a lot about the Vasa but also about living on board a boat during those times.
