Eagle Lake Park

Lots of trails and lots of cool things to see. Great for birding. A nice little get-away in the middle of Largo.

Eagle Lake Park is a nice local park to walk, bike , and get out. It used to be a working orchard and you can still see the old house and some of the trees . The playground area is lacking.

This is an excellent place to relax or exercise, enjoy nature or even cook out (there are pavilions scattered through the park , all having fixed charcoal grills ). The County 's upkeep is very good.

Pay attention to the signs at the entrances to the boardwalks.. On one side, dogs not allowed.. At the opposite side, dogs allowed. A but contradictory.. Government efficiency/intelligence @ its best!

There are great trails to run with your dog in addition to several large fenced areas for free play.

This is a really great park . But as far as the dog section, be careful there's some real dog snobs there. Very rude people with no understanding of canines. I have been the better man and left.

Park sucks! Use to be a good fishing spots till they open the park . Now all the spooks fished those lakes clean
