This little hidden gem took us back to NYC ❤️ the food was delicious and the staff were super friendly . Loved it and will definitely be back!!

The Philly cheese steak sub special was delicious, as was the side salad , pickle , and pretzel . The service is super friendly ! Ah, gluten free bread option available.

The Reuben Sandwich was juicy, delicious, and very filling. Coffee wasn't bad, but have had better at other places.

A NY feel in the heart of Melbourne. NY staples with an Aussie twist. Doesn't hurt that they play tribe and de la soul on repeat.

Had an intense love affair with my Reuben sandwich . Russian dressing so delicious. And the pickle and the pretzels . Love love love.

Everyone feels so passionately about the Reuben sandwich and we finally knew why. Also, the peanut butter chocolate is great.

Backstreet sandwich and bagel café . Reasonably cheap , around $10-14 for a large portion . Friendly service .

Packed even during Christmas week but the service was efficient! The Reuben is definitely worth trying and make sure you have cash as they don't take cards.

The Reuben (good for 2, tbh) is excellent - the real McCoy - as is the mac'n'cheese. Great coffee and lovely staff . Gluten free sandwiches are 1/2 sized, but just as yummy according to my other half!

Double smoked pork belly with coriander slaw on a brioche , yum! Reuben is popular but I like the pork belly way more. The mac & cheese were great, same as pumpkin chocolate brownie yum!

This place is absolutely incredible for good American food , NYC style (think bagels , Rubens , pastrami ).

Absolutely huge sandwiches , but delicious!

Good service but too many good places in town to return. The Reuben was far too messy for me and sauce soaked into the bread which I don’t enjoy.

Free Reese's with take-away coffee ! Coffee itself is excellent too.

Neat little place almost hidden on Oliver Ln with arguably the best sandwiches in Melbourne (yes as others have stated , the Reuben is extraordinary). Gluten-free bread pretty good too!
