Great environment :) great staff , awesome crowd. Lots of insightful, witty people flock to M1-5. Try the Kurwa drink. Insist that Solomon or Monica make it. Their version is the best!!

Good happy hour prices and gets to be a fun space late night . But they have a lot of private events so if you're planning on going call ahead to see if they're open usual hours.

The music is all over the place, but good hip hop you can actually dance to comes on around 2am and continues til closing (Friday and Saturday nights).

Maybe I came on a slow day, but it's really empty. I like it. If you're Herr with a bunch of people it's all yours. Good music . Good food.

This place has no idea what it wants to be. Is it a bar with extremely difficult door policies? Is it a divey lounge ? The music screams club, though...I arrived perplexed and left equally perplexed.

Visit M1-5 in Tribeca in the early evening on a weekday. Grab a drink or two, and mingle with the eclectic group of people there before the yuppies show up.
