Thomas Circle

Ugliest circle in the city . Do yourself a favor and walk 5 minutes up Vermont Avenue to Logan Circle. But if you can't be bothered, the steps of the church offer a nice view of the traffic and bustle.

This is great. With the redo of the circle/park, it's so easy to walk straight through the circle/park, rather than walking all the way around.

Kimpton's Donovan House is the nicest hotel in the neighborhood -- I've stayed there many times. Plus, there's a CVS right across the street if you need sundries.

The view is one of my favorites in the city . The DNV rooftop bar has a great view of the circle.

This is a great place for pet relief if you are staying at the Residence Inn .

Perfect place to walk your pup or do some morning jogging

You can get a great view of this circle and the city , from the rooftop of the Donovan House hotel .

I love the area!! Has been living downtown for about 14 yrs... Just make sure not to step in dog poop!!

If you're walking on Massachusetts, it seems to take slightly less time to walk across the circle than around

Also: good place to watch 4th of July fireworks !

This is center of 14th Street.......It be popping on the weekend

Good luck trying to figure out the best way to get around this thing on foot.

Bring a picnic . You may be stuck for a long time in traffic .

DDOT needs to do something about nprthbound traffic here! Mess! Not pedestrian friendly either
