Amazing views of Golden Gate Bridge . Great menu and a lot of gluten free options . Try figs salad and chili or curry . Great choice. The service is perfect.
Exceptional for both brunch and dinner . It's a vegetarian spot, but I doubt you'd notice if I hadn't said anything. Plus, enormous windows that look out onto the Bay . Really nice date material.
The menu changes daily, but its focus on seasonal fare makes it still one of the best places in San Francisco to eat, vegetarian or otherwise. Read more
Great views from tables near the windows. Brunch here is transcendent — a unique offering in the Bay Area. Dinner is great too — amazing dinner rolls and pasta with Gorgonzola .
Excellent elevated vegetarian & vegan cuisine. Their parpadelle mushroom dish was heavenly as was their strawberry salad with mixed greens. A+ chocolate & pistachio mascarpone cakes . Elite service!
Incredible place to take a date or just go with good friends. Gorgeous views , phenomenal food, and great wines . A dream.
Greens isn't just sit-down. They also have a great "Greens to Go" option during the day. It's quick and fresh. And you can bring it next door to The Interval if you like. :)
Annie Somerville's vegetarian dishes like mesquite-grilled tofu brochettes and potato griddle cakes will win over even the most die-hard carnivore. [Eater 38 Member] Read more
If it’s your first time, be sure to make a reservation , get there early and ask for the first available window table .
First vegetarian restaurant in America; offers locally sourced seasonal mouthwatering fare set in warehouse decorated with massive redwood driftwood with breathtaking views of the Golden Gate Bridge .
Beautiful views and very laid back staff . If you go between 2-5pm there is no table service and we actually loved that - we brought coffee/cookies and enjoyed an awesome snack
When you order your drinks, order the jalapeño cornbread or the buttermilk biscuits , too. It'll give you something to enjoy while you peruse the amazing vegetarian menu .
I had the mixed vegetable soup , which wasn't anything special. Would probably come back and try other things though, because the atmosphere and the view was so good.
The views , the wine and the appetizers are great-- frankly I wasn't impressed by the entrees. They seemed like what a non-veg would serve you to get you to not like vegetarian food .
Try to ask for window seating when you arrive. Worth it when it's around sunset time. Food is delicious! Dessert is a must :)
Veggies with a view . Greens has prime real estate for watching the sun set over the Golden Gate Bridge . Read more
Stunning view of the bridge (when the fog isn't around) and a perfect place for a date, especially if your significant other is vegetarian .
simple nice food, good enough for a regular vegetarian cafe . but it’s not a level of a top rated restaurant . overpriced. I regret that I chose it for my birthday dinner , it wasn’t cozy or fancy .
The hummus appetizer is the best hummus/pita bread I've ever had. We actually ordered a second plate of it instead of dessert .
Delicious cheese plate appetizer and an extensive wine selection . Beautiful windows overlooking the bay .
Gorgeous views of the Golden Gate Bridge and amazing, upscale seasonal vegetarian dishes with locally sourced ingredients. Great wine list and desserts .
The view of golden gate from the large windows is amazing. The food I felt is overpriced for the taste or quantity .
Great food, great views ! An excellent choice to have dinner or lunch before heading to a Magic Theatre performance .
One of the best meals I've had in SF. The service was impeccable even though I showed up there in running clothes after a jog. Can't find a fault with anything on the menu
Hello excellent Indian food and pizza with asparagus . Try the mimosa cocktail
This was well and truly a splurge because this place is very pricey . But the food was extremely delicious and worthy of costing a nights accommodation.
Incredible service and the food is superb! The window tables are on a first come basis, but the entire room has a great view !
The view is great, the food quite lovely. Recommend their pasta , which is almost always great.
Get the portobello sandwich and make sure to get a table by the window. Amazing views of the bay and Golden Gate Bridge !
We went at night , so we couldn't check the decor out...but the food was actually good. I reckon the decor is worth the view during the day time.
Enjoy the views as the sun sets over the Golden Gate as you dine at what many say was Steve Job's favorite vegetarian restaurant
High-end vegetarian fare in a converted military building! Get a table by the water and you can see the Golden Gate Bridge (if it's not too foggy).
Great place for dinner ! Ambient lighting, would recommend sitting and eating for a while with friends
View is amazing from any seat. Can't go wrong. All the food is solid.
Can't say I loved the mesquites. Overpriced for quality. You pay for the view . Corn pepper soup was also lackluster for price. Shizen is better every day of the week.
The buttermilk salad is not to be overlooked. Summer rolls also so fresh
Beautiful place all around. Location, interior, menu, staff — ????
brochettes were amazing . There is a better ( and cheaper ) selection of deserts at the take out counter in the front .
Be sure to try it wonderful vegetarian restaurant with great views of the Bridge
Sunday brunch is excellent, but early evenings are best for watching the sun set behind the Golden Gate Bridge from the floor-to-ceiling windows. Read more
Lunch is until 2:00 and that is 2:00 on the nose but the good part there is always greens out the door and you can eat in the dinning room
Really good views . Ask for a water facing table
Great view through large windows , good service and excellent food.
One of the best view restaurants in the city . The potato griddle cakes are to die for!
Most items here can be made vegan .
Love that brunch place . Delicious healthy vegetarian food
Get the Pinnacle Scramble for brunch
Well , first, prepare yourself for a feast for the eyes as well as the palette. Try for a harbor view .
Saturdays are the prix fixe menu . Make sure to get the phenomenal wine pairings .
