Favorite cocktail bar , easily. Full of amazing art and science pieces, nothing beats a Navy Gimlet , amazing bartenders , and cool things to look at. The back booth has a great view of the bridge !
Cerebral cocktails in a space that feels like Stewart Brand's houseboat. Best Cuba Libre I've ever had. Get the navy gimlet if you pride yourself on your strong character.
Order a Decanted Mother-in-law, it's a great drink to share. We serve it in an old time apothecary jar, so it's like a little pitcher . Get a double order so there's more to go round!
Cute cocktail list with little facts about the drinks' histories gracing each page. The space on the water is smaller than I thought from the photos, but is filled with interesting things to look at.
Run by the Long Now Foundation, has excellent cocktails , a library , some clock pieces, good talks, and good people.
The apparently cryptic but in fact aptly named I've Grown to Love Life Too Much is a delicious shot of cognac , spiced pear liqueur , crème de cacao , served up with a sparkling wine back. Enjoy!
Off the menu drinks? Hell yes! Of all the bartenders , Allen has a penchant for off the menu drinks and Haley is in the know, too. Ask for the Wonder Lust - you won't be disappointed :D H/T @vmbrasseur
Get a gimlet and gaze at the art that changes above the bar . Off the beaten path but well worth the trek.
A fascinating theme, laid-back vibe, and great Old Fashioneds . Worth checking out, especially since it's a bit off the beaten path.
The Interval is a good place to sit and think about time. Glass beakers of small production spirits float above the bar , and the menu is split into categories that allow exploration of one drink. Read more

Chock full of wacky mechanical marvels, books , and art , you might brush The Interval off as a steampunk Ruby Tuesday's, but you might get to hear a smarty-pants seminar while downing their cocktails . Read more
The Decanted Mother in-Law (pictured) was wonderful and the first thing on the menu. Moving on the Tom Collins and Daiquiri #3 are incredibly refreshing.
Amazing cocktails in an incredibly cool setting. Perhaps my favorite bar on the planet!
Oh my god, what a cool spot to just do some thinking. Like having your beverage in the study of a heady draftsman/tinkerer from the 30s.
There are plugs. It's right on water. They serve tea pots and espresso in Heath stuff. Impeccable aesthetics: exposed copper piping in bathroom sink, Thomas Edison style lightbulb clusters on ceiling
Read a book off our shelves. You'll find books on science, history, scifi, literary classics, time, language, engineering , sailing ... and pretty much everything else we call civilization. Read more
Fabulous cocktails and an interesting venue. Has a model of a 10,000 year clock and there is a talk/lecture series on a Tuesday
Great bar with classy decor and interesting cocktails . Check out the long now foundation and their mission while here. Good place to come after BATS improv
A $100 donation, doable via any bartender and a little paperwork, will earn you a pretty nice rare challenge coin. A bit much but what were you about to spend on drinks?
Amazing! An orrery, delicious cocktails , perfect espresso and a stuffed passenger pigeon. What more could you ask for?

Fabulous ambiance, bar tenders, coffee -- plus super interesting people
Big menu, if you're feeling overwhelmed go for a Mezcal old fashioned or the Corpse Reviver. Park in the parking lots outside of Fort Mason because they're free.

Amazing cocktail menu , the Decanted Mother-in-Law packs a hell of a punch. Drink carefully ???? end with a Sightglass Macchiato .
Awesome cocktail bar that looks like a science library .! And large choice of rhums !
The smartest bar I've been to. Came in for a drink before our table was ready at Green's; they have their most popular drinks on tap.
Wonderful place for a good cocktail and friend/date catch up. Feels out of the way- but worth the trip.
Great cocktails and tea :) the back room can be a good spot to work
You feel like you are a student in "Good will hunting". Very inspiring place to have a conversation

A super cool bar , made cooler by the “Long now” association. Definitely worth stopping in.
Great little bar with delicious drinks and great decor.
Makes both great coffee and great booze drinks surrounded by one of the prettiest rooms in the area.
Solid cocktails ...plus it's the closest place for a drink when I'm down at Breach Once More Theatre .
Great coffee and decent selection of drinks. You can bring in your own food.
Amazing views of Golden Gate Bridge. Great menu and a lot of gluten free options. Try figs salad and chili or curry. Great choice. The service is perfect. - Lena
Nice place! Small theater with all seats having a good view. - John Richards
Inside the Long Now offices is a small museum. Check out its centerpiece, the orrery, a modern incarnation of the planetary models that rose popularity during the Renaissance and Enlightenment. - Parker H
the $10 cocktails are really good, I also like the whiskey sour. so tasty! - Russell Allen Esmus
Drink menu changes monthly now. Incredible drinks. Latest for me is the Golden Fire hydrant. Tequilas and more. Try the Trick Dog hamburger! - Vic Zaud
Great beers and food! Our waiter was friendly and helpful in finding a beer that suited my taste. The food was as creative as German food can actually get ???? views are beautiful as well! - Aysu Ozgur
