Los Peñasquitos Canyon Preserve

This was such a beautiful place to go hike !! We went recently and everyone thought we were crazy because it was a hot weekend however it was well shaded and we had a great time!

Lots of mountain biking , hiking and equine trails . Be courteous and don't use trails until 12 hrs after rains.

Take trail to the waterfalls ! Very leisurely hike .

Love the creek with the little bridge . Always a good place to start and end your run.

It is flat. If you plan to be on foot, you better intend to jog. Walking here is boring. Good for bikes .
