Beautiful hike from the cliffs down to the beach . If you park at the bottom, the hike up to the parking lot is harder than the scenic hike itself. Curve down to the beach to skip the parking lot hike .
Beautiful view of the coast. Short stroll..not really a hike . Instead of hiking back just walk along the beach and back to your car... Feels much more refreshing!
Well The hike here is amazing and there are a few Trails you can take I believe 5 Trails and the beach below is the finishing Touches !! A Must do if you like hiking !!
Wonderful hiking trail between beach and cliffs. Start by walking up to the cliffs on the paved road . Then take the trail down to the uncrowded beach to cool off before heading back to your car.
Don't park in the 1st lot by the exit. Drive to the visitor center, you'll have more energy for the hike down the trails to the beach and overlooks.
Fantastic hiking trails and amazing views . Also one of the only homes to the endangered Torrey Pine, so check this out!
Although it's located in the city of San Diego, it remains as one of the wildest reserves on the Southern California Coast; with miles of breathtaking landscapes and diverse wildlife .
I've hiked this multiple times with friends and fam and it's gorgeous! The sights never fail. Workout a light sweat and walk down to the beach afterwards. #thebest
One of the best hikes that I experienced. The views were always great. It was easy enough for everyone but yet you could continue onto other trails .
My favorite hiking place but this time was beyond the best with my love ♡
Best hiking place in SoCal... beautiful scenes and if you go early in the morning you can get free parking
Beautiful spot to hike . Many trails to walk both long and short . Scenery is amazing. Worth the trip.
The easiest hiking trail in SD. Run the entire thing so you can actually break a sweat!
If you can, snag a beach parking spot just before Torrey Pines State Park to avoid the $15 day use fee. Don't expect to be able to park at the beach on a weekend though :)
If you are paying with a credit card, go in and turn left. The ticket must be displayed on your dash or you will get a citation.
Really relaxing hiking trails : amazing views of the Pacific Ocean the entire time. You can even hike down to the beach ! Love it.
Gorgeous view and scenery. Nice to find some untouched beach in all this city .
You should really get here since the rains. The flora and fauna are out in abundance
Awesome hiking spot
Simply go-juss! You can take lots of loops to add mileage. Look for whales spouting off the coast in season.
Home to the rarest tree in North America, and one of the rarest trees on the planet. Tread lightly and enjoy an amazing spot!
Trails are beautiful but they close them at the slightest rain so call before you go!
Go up the beach ways which is totally uphill and up stairs and your bum will love you.
Best San Diego hiking within a 45 minute drive of downtown San Diego. A must see/do for visitors.
Slightly less famous, but equally worthwhile, is the Torrey Pines State Reserve Extension, located just across Los Peñasquitos Lagoon from the main reserve . Read more
Check out the museum at the top of the hill . The short video has great info and stunning photography !
Hike down the Beach Trail for a challenging (but oh-so-rewarding) journey!
Parking is expensive but worth it. Bring water and a camera
Great place to hike the beaches or the trails above!

Great number off trails and beach access. Beautiful! - Billie Bourgeois - Pacific Sotheby's International
Take the beach trail down to the flat rock! Also, along the Yucca trail, there are beautiful views of the beach down below. - Phoebe Lehman
Trails fairly overgrown as compared with the main reserve. Best during winter when the rattlesnakes are hibernating. Some stunning views off the western ridge. Great for peace & quiet. Do it! - Scott R.
Take trail to the waterfalls! Very leisurely hike. - Chloe Cano
My favorite spot in SD! Magnificent view . Great for hikes although it gets crowded throughout the weekend. - Azin
