Cabrillo National Monument San Diego , CA 92106 United States
One of the most beautiful spots in San Diego. Make sure you go at low tide for the full experience!
Very cool. It's great to get so up close--lots to see. I loved climbing the rocks. Wear clothes to get wet
Be sure to follow the actual path - there's a more dangerous way to go that I almost attempted because I didn't see the real trail . Also, dogs are allowed!
My favorite spot in SD! Magnificent view . Great for hikes although it gets crowded throughout the weekend.
Came an hour before low-tide and only saw some fish and little crabs . Have to come back to see more!
For best results, go online for the tidal charts and visit at low tide -1.0 to -1.8. Otherwise, the actual tidepools are pretty inaccessible. The coastline is always ruggedly beautiful tho.
Go when it's low tide and you won't be disappointed
Check with the visitors' center to find out if the tide pools are visible before heading out.
Wait for low tide and hike around the rocks. You won't be disappointed
Great hiking spot
Come in the winter months to see right in!
The tide pools are a fun place to explore
Any ocean spot is a good one. But tourists ...
Watch your step and don't take anything home.
Tidepools are not always visible, so call ahead to find out.
Great for hill repeats! Hard to beat this scenery...
The ocean view is quite nice
Scenic views but walkable
Go earlier in the day for a peaceful adventure.
