Been coming here for years and always ordered the chicken masala , nasi briyani (best i've ever had), papadums, & mango lassi . Kinda expensive but worth it. Dont forget to order extra papadums! :-)
Seriously good tandoori . Being some friends, get some briyani rice (free flow), a curry and a tandoori chicken and u are set for a wonderful meal! Masala tea goes well after the spicy meal too.
Button Mysore biryani @ $10 is tasty but v spicy . U will sure need a drink and a bottle of water cost $2. The vegetables and biryani can be topped up though which is nice.
One of the famous Indian restaurants in Little India. Order Nasi Briyani . Note that Indian briyani usually comes in HUGE portions . Sharing is recommended. Avoid lunch and dinner timings.
Best mango lassi I've ever had! Nice place and popular among both locals and tourists . We had their signature fishhead curry and some other dishes. Curry was ok, but nothing special. Paneer was better
Nice Masala Tea 👍. Quiet nice place with good food, but in my opinion the staff is overpriced. Vegetables Tandoori -$22 😲🙄 But there are always crowdy, that means that people like it
This is a must go to indian food joint. Go crazy of the food here and order anything that looks nice cause they actually taste awesome.
Try the fish curry . It’s amazing
Portions weren’t what they used to be; less vegetables given on the leaf. Though the curries were still tasty, meat pieces were quite fatty. Squid curry was surprisingly tender & tasty.
Had a very good lunch . Briyani was very good. Main thing Tasty food and not expensive ...
Curry fish head (small) S$22 & tandoori chicken S$12 , both are awesome! Curry fish head generous serving !
Delicious Indian food served from banana leave . Friendly staff , quick service , vibrant atmosphere.
Good Indian food restaurant you can find in Singapore. Most of the dishes are spicy but tasted good, not really recommended Garlic Nana, too oily.
Fish head curry , chicken masala and paneer makni... delicious! It is worth the hype !
Share Fish head curry for 2-3person is better. must try mango lassi .
Fish Head Curry is famous there. You get unlimited rice and veggies and papadum - David Papkin
Not an expert in Indian food . So it’s good enough to satisfy my crave. A bit pricey though
Rice is charged but damn, is the curry tasty or what. Fried fish roe is a favorite. Chicken 65 is a bit dry for my liking.
Very nice Indian food .. Must try
Great Indian food , very crowdy
Everything!
Fish head curry is pretty good
We took the prawn curry , but all the dishes looked really good.
Busy ambience vibe on Saturday afternoon.
Great food and service. Make sure you get the rice with the condiments
Fishhead Curry & Fish Tikka as awesome!
I prefer the fish head curry at samy's curry at demsey road . The butter chicken was flat. MYSORE mutton not up to the mark. Not for the true curry eaters.
Their Aloo Gobi rocks the house!
Service terrible -waited 15 mins to order. Cashew veggies meh, fish curry and mysore mutton were fantastic. They were out of the S. Indian Thali which was a bummer!
Obviously the fish head curry . Masala chicken is good here
Mmm yummy delicious food
Food is good but is not the best Indian as many people describes it. And they charge you for everything, even the napkins!!!
Great experience! Mutton mysore will blow your socks off
Service is fast. Expensive drink. A glass of warm water: $1. Lime juice : $3. Food is good.
Slightly pricey compared to the numerous indian restaurants in the area. But the food & service make up for it
One of the most affordable place to eat with luxury . One of the most reasonable pricing among rest.
Order the giant tiger beer !
Fish head fish head fish head
Awesomely delicous! Should try it!
Mysore mutton and almost any damn thing!
Fish head curry is so flavorful!
Disappointingly average Indian fare. After 43 years of business, I can well imagine that the food used to be better
Nice food here like the mutton hyberdad and butter chicken with garlic naan pardon me for the spelling though haha
Amazing food and fish head curry
The curry fish head is amazing!
Recommended: masala mutton , chicken and fish roe !
Decent food but service is good.
Tasty briyani and tandoori chicken but overpriced. Great for tourists but not locals
Generous with the fish curry portion
The food was so so. Fish head curry was okay but not the best. Service by one of the workers was pretty bad, otherwise okay
Special ghee podi dosa ($7.50). Very crispy & aromatic, due to the ghee oil. Spicy from the podi power - Cheen The Curious
For a nice relaxing bevvie, try the Teh Halia. It's good! Right amount of everything...teh, halia heat, milk, sugar...sluuurp! - Aaliyah
Chicken chukka is a must have for me here. Generous portions! - Farrah Tahar
