Visit the two Museums , they are free! Check event info, we listened to a free concert on our last visit. This is also a great wedding venue (I was married here in 2000)!

HISTORY

This was built in 1902 & originally served as the Federal Court House & Post Office for the Upper Midwest. In the 1970s, a group of determined citizens saved the building from the wrecking ball.

Preservation Alliance of Minnesota

This Chateauesque granite building with clock towers and ornate interiors was designed by Willoughby J. Edbrooke and built in 1894-1902 to serve as the U.S. Post Office , Courthouse , and Customs House.
