Life-changing pork buns . Dim sum is great… but the pork buns . The location in Tong Mi is definitely the best. Tried the HK train station one and the food was slightly off. Cash only .
Baked bun with BBQ Pork , Steamed Beef Ball , Ha Jiao, Shao Mai, Deep fried spring roll with shrimp & egg white , Phoenix Talon, Vermicelli roll BBQ pork , Steamed rice with beef & pan fried egg
Amazing foods experience. The three pictured were some of the best: baked BBQ pork buns , chicken feet in black bean sauce and shrimp dumpling . Huge crowd and long wait - to avoid come around 3pm.
In our attempt to order w/o knowing the english translation led to this - Crispy Coconut Milk Cream - but did not regret coz it was so damn good. Try it. Ask for menu with english translation.
Must-visit place, at least once in your lifetime. Delicious dim sum and pork buns (check Eater.com for a video on how you can make them at home).
Ha Kao (prawn dumpling ), Siew Mai (pork+shrimp dumpling ), Foong Zao (chicken feet ), Sou Pei Cha Siew Bao (flaky pastry BBQ pork bun ). These are the must try's. 😋 Service is 👍🏼
Awesome crispy char siew bao ! Lobark gou (turnip cake ) and jue cheong fun (vermicelli roll ) very nice 2! Worth to travel all the way here for dimsum . Din q at all 2. XD
BBQ Pork buns are to die for; I want to eat them every time I visit HK. Also get the Vermicelli rolls with pork . Insane good value for taste
One of the must go if you would like to try out the classic Cantonese dim sum culture. Not offering spacious seats but their food is really great!
Book a VIP room and have no queue or waiting! Means you'll have a minimum spend and can pre-order some items first, but with a decent sized group, it should be fine :)
Life changing pork buns . I dream about these pork buns . I consider flying back to hk for more of these pork buns . Quick seating for groups of 2, larger groups wait longer. Very cheap . Excellent tea .
I'm usually not a huge pork bun person but these buns were so good. The shrimp dumplings and lotus leaf sticky rice were some of the best I've had. Really good value for money !
Exit mtr B2. Walk along fuk wah st. turn left when reach main rd. Turn right n cross traffic lights n u r on fuk wing st. Walk strght till end. Cross street n u r there. big sign w chi name in green.
MUST GO! be prepared to queue for 1-2 hours, worth the wait. BBQ pork bun is a MUST and other dim sum menus are just fantastic! Best dimsum ever tried!
Huge Michelin stared meal for £15! Amazing. Be sure to try the glutinous rice in lotus leaf and the pork buns with BBQ sauce .
The bbq pork buns are out of this world! And you can stuff yourself silly for $100 a head. (But I don't get why it's Michelin starred ...)
There are a few locations of Tim Ho Wan, but the original has a Michelin star and is crazy delicious. You must get the baked BBQ pork buns . Also very inexpensive dim sum .
Daily specials are starred on the menu. Crispy Pork Chop Bun is a must. Everything else is good but don't go for spring rolls , oil soaked all over ...
Scrumptious HK dim sum ! Oven baked bbq pork bun is always the star! Fresh veggie & egg dessert 蛋散 are good too.
for dim sum in Hong Kong! Tiny, Michelin star restaurant . Long wait , totally worth it - you just get in line , get a ticket, then go do something else for a couple hours. :)
The first and original Tim Ho Wan of Hong Kong 🇭🇰 Try this chef’s recommendation.
The Baked BBQ Pork Bun Pastry (Char Siu Bao ) is their signature dish. A must try for everyone.
Must try: one of their signature dishes - baked pineapple tart charsiu bao . Read more
The house special baked pork buns are a must (yknow.. They usually steamed..) sweet but also light and delicious.
I’ll say what everyone else says: try the fried pork buns . They are very good. However, I stop there. Everything else is decent or not good. Does not deserve a Michelin star .
Absolutely delicious. Particularly enjoyed the beef buns . Very cheap - try not to over order!
So much hype about this place. It was good, but I wasn't blown away. Have had cheaper and tastier dim sum . A larger variety would have been appreciated. Definitely go for the pork buns .
Been to the original shop in MK years ago. A little disappointed with the choice I ordered - chicken feet and siew mai .. only baked bun with BBQ pork is nice..
Amazing dim sum . A must-visit in Hong Kong!
Spareribs with chicken toe taste so good! And also recommend the quicksand bun !
Great food for just HK$131 w/ 2 adults, 1 child. We were lucky, just had to wait in line for 2 minutes!! And yes they do speak English, okay not all.

One of the greatest dim sums ever and definitely the greatest pork bun ever!
Really really good!! Tonic Medlar & Petal Cake is great!! Must try!!
Get everything but roast pork buns are the BEST.
Nice, casual dim sum place with great food. The pork buns are a must.

Come during the weekday, can be cramped for tall people. Do enjoy their baked bbq pork bun though!
It can be hard for some cab drivers if you tell them Fuk Wing street cos this is a long street with a few sections. Tell cab driver cross road of Fuk Wing street and Wong Chuk street.
Dumplings with shrimps were pretty good
Flaky crusty baked pork bun goodness!
No need to come, Din Tai Fung and even DimDimSum is better than these guys... Did not try their bbq pork bun but other stuff was below average except spring rolls w/ shrimp & egg white ...
Went twice at around 2pm on a weekday and got in immediately (though it was still busy).
Amazing BBQ pork buns ! Best ever! And the spring rolls are great too
Long line even on a Tuesday, but waited only about 20 minutes. Get the BBQ pork buns . They're baked and so good.
