It's the perfect place for a date if you are on a budget. I love the Homemade Potato Gnocchi . Bring your own beverage and enjoy the tables outside when it's warm. CASH ONLY !

Norman Ellis

Get there early grab a sit outside and people watch while you eat. It's BYOB and cash only . Dinner for 2 (3 appetizers , 2 entrees & 1 dessert ) was $110 and that included tax & tip. A bargain in NYC!

Village Voice

Split in half, sodden with butter, and crunchy on top with slivered almonds and coagulated sugar, the almond croissant is so good that we're going to give up and walk out to get a few right now. Read more

Finally made it for brunch , and it’s as good as the say. The apple pancake is special and delicious. The omelette is cooked to savory perfection.

Morgan Polotan

Get the spicy chicken . The tuna tartare is also good. Get there early as its a small restaurant that fills up quickly.

Lauren Mac

French onion soup and a half gnocchi are surprisingly filling, cheesy, and tasty!Definitely snag a bottle of wine before arrival, Tartine is an adorable neighborhood spot where you'll want to linger.

Cynthia Gunawan

tartine is located in a nice, quiet area in west village . my favorite would be the poached eggs with corned hash . place is very small & busy like most places in west village . be patient.

Take the brunch menu a la carte. Only cash . Don’t miss the avocado mash toast or the croque madame plate. Mouthwatering. The poached Benedict’s eggs not that great though.

Village Voice

Say bonjour to the steamed Mussels and french fries at Tartine, a restaurant that offers simple but excellent French food . The combination of the two comes with the promise of a délicieuse expérience.

Amalia Goutaki

Great cosy little restaurant in the west village . Brunch is sooo good. Usually a small wait but worth it. Eggs are delicious, pastries , croissants with jam ❤️👌🏻. CASH ONLY

Delicious kale squash salad . Great food, mellow casual cafe ambiance. Croque madame brady had looked bomb!

Super tiny establishment but very cool with good service and fantastic food. The warm kale salad with squash and pine nuts was delish. BYO wine w/ no cork fee= a dream! Downside= cash only .

No alcohol and cash only but the food is AMAZING. My friend and I got the Eggs Norvégienne (yummy gravlax) and the Croque Madame .

Inge Van Hecke

My absolute favorite for brunch ... Grilled chicken sandwich or eggs Benedict 's or apple pancakes ...it's tinny. Being squeezed into a little spot is part of the experience. BYOB for lunch and dinner

Zach M.

Hidden gem in the middle of the west village . A perfect brunch spot with some of the best home fries in the city . Be sure to get here early - brunch is packed by 11am!

Emily Wilson

Come here during the afternoon in the wintertime and warm up with a hot chocolate or some tea and a French pastry

Setenay

Great place, cozy and comfortable , tasty French food . Trying to get a table outside and don't forget to get your own wine so they don't sell alcohol but they serve yours 😉

Crab cake app w/ arugula and apples , and French fries were my fave here. Scallops and steak were fine. Great outdoor people-watching quaint location.

Neil Raina

Spicy chicken was great. Mix the fries guac and sauce with chicken for a big juicy bite. Also recommend the special of scallops if they are available.

Phil Shannon

This place is great. Byob , cozy and a true west village experience (no tourists in sight). I had the grilled chicken sandwich for brunch .

A truly French experience on a quintessential West Village corner. Tuna Tartare is delicious and enough for an entree if ordered with salad or side.

spicy chicken is the best dish. go early for dinner and grab a table outside on a summery fall night with a friend

Uber romantic , BYOB any kind of liquor and everything on the menu is great. Top restaurants in NY. No reservations taken. p.s. i worked here and i still love to go.

BYOB and no cork fee, enough said! Entrees are pricey but an appetizer and a half kept me full. Ambience is intimate and cozy , definitely making a return very soon!

Found their omelette to be exceptional... cozy and comfy spot in corner with not a lot of people ... great for people watching in the village

Grace S.

Best eggs benedict in the city ! Perfectly toasted english muffin , extra runny eggs and chives on top of the hollandaise sauce . Also comes w/ big homestyle potatoes w/ tomatoes , onions , & scallions

Honghui Yu

Good option for brunch but I recommend getting here early as the brunch is quite popular and they have only a few tables.

Kourosh Behnam

They give you free OJ right when you sit down but no refills. I had the eggs florentine and it was tasty. Seating area inside was small; I would sit outside next time. Just another brunch place .

Olivia Fabbro

small place, but BYOB ! make sure to try the escargots and the spicy chicken with guac ! sit outside on a nice evening for a date

Max Suderow

BYOB . Everything is great but the mussels and the chocolate mousse were highlights

Weekend brunch ! Omelette and french toast . Cash only ! Byob

Regular mediocre French bistro in a good location. A bit pricy for its quality and environment. Crowded on weekends for brunch

Feeling wise today? Try the Chicken Paillard infused with jus de poulet . It's really awesome, and practically guilt-free!
