The best tantanmen I've tasted. Miso based ramen is good as well . Karaage and gyoza also, keep on coming back because of those. But do not ask for service water. Kinda taste water from the faucet...
The BEST Tantanmen in Metro Manila . If you're looking to get a fix for your spicy ramen craving then head on over here. Their broth is spicy yet very flavorful like with hints of nuttiness in the soup
Tantanmen ramen IS as good as they say! Huge bowl! Few pointers: prepare to sweat from the spice, they only serve it after 6pm, the rumor that the chef only makes ten bowls per night is SOO not true.
You'll never go wrong with Tantanmen . But for the lunch sets, since it don't include the Tantanmen , I'd go for the Miso Butter Corn with Gyoza . Ramen perfection.
Their Ukkokei Shoyu Chashu miso ramen is one of the best. Lean slivers of pork over fresh vegetables , handmade noodles and miso broth. It's worth the trip and a meal in itself.
Try the Tantanmen if you can take a little spicy soup . Its the best Tantanmen in town ! If you cant handle spicy , they have seafood ramen thats miso based. Also good!
I have yet to try their famous Tantanmen Ramen but in case you don't either or you're there for lunch I would highly recommend their Ukokkei Miso Butter Corn ramen .
Got the shio corn butter and kara miso level 3. Guys this is RAMEN . It should have lots of rich flavor. Miso based ramen is the way to go.
Better get there early and know what to order ahead of time. The "special" ramen gets sold out easily (plus, some other stuff are only served at specific hours of the day)
Try their Yaki Gyoza . A very good side dish. Dip it in a concoction of sauce like Japanese vinegar + Kikkoman sauce + a dash of oil.
decent food but the service staff could be a little more considerate. We saw an old woman in a wheelchair arrive 5 minutes before the opening and she was asked to wait outside in the scorching heat.
Their Tantanmen by far is the best ramen I've tasted. Get a tamago to go with it :)
I was skeptical at first, but after trying it, the Tantanmen Ramen is the best I've had! Limited quantities available from 6PM onwards.
choose miso butter corn and you'll never go wrong. best ramen house in makati ;) their gyoza is good too.
Tantamen is definitely a winner. Rich but not overpowering. Perfect balance of spices. Big serving too! The gyoza is also quite good.
Go a bit earlier than noontime to get a table.always full, but worth the wait.the miso based soup is the best for me!..serious comfort food for a quick lunch .
Was here even before the ramen craze! Great value ! Must try: Tantanmen ramen and miso butter corn ramen ! YUMMM
The ambiance and service is similar to a cheap beer joint, rundown and basic. But, the Ramen is delicious. Rich, flavor full, thick, hearty, robust. One of the best in the Metro. Up to P380/bowl.
Their Tantanmen (P390) flaunts the most memorable, creamy miso broth that contains no milk or peanuts , instead it's mixed with ground sesame paste that gives it a unique, nutty flavor Read more
Tantanmen is really worth the wait. Noodles are firmer than Yushoken's, soup less thick.I like their version marginally better. BUT THEY REALLY HAVE TO CLEAN UP.We saw COCKROACHES & felt d mosquitoes
Ramen with salt base is so good!!!
Order Tantanmen , Miso Butter corn ... or if you want to be greedy, order Tantanmen with extra butter and corn !!
Tantanmen is not on the menu , but is the star of this ramen joint. Rich, tasty, spicy broth . ????????????
I love their miso butter corn ramen . Go gor their lunch set,it comes with gyoza , chahan and ramen
I enjoyed reading all the reviews. I agree that the owner (bald Japanese guy with the towel on his head) could learn a thing or two about customer service... But the Ramen is sooo darn good!
You don't come here for the service. You come here for the best damn ramen in the country . The shoyu ramen best exemplifies what the Japanese term as "umami."
Tantanmen hands down! Add extra chasu for good measure. I had better gyoza though.
their gyoza is the best i've tasted so far. the ukokkei miso chashu is great too.
Tantanmen is still the best! Available only after 6pm.
Tantanmen is the best! Not true that they only serve 10 servings a night. Best ramen place in Manila !
They put your ramen takeout in rectangular plastic tupperwares. Ramen is always best eaten "fresh", anyway.
Ramen has never been a favorite of mine but this place has made me a fan. The Miso Butter Corn Ramen is a must for first-timers.
How can you not order the tantanmen after a long day at work?
Their tantanmen is really good! Not in the menu though. And best served with iced cold sprite!
Try their Shio Butter Corn ramen , definitely one of the best ????
the best ramen noodle soup in town ! mhal but soo worthy the price! i recommend the miso based!
Super packed during lunch . Arrive early. Like 1130-ish.
Tantanmen is the Best!!!
Sorry but the shio based ramen was a let down. I would skip that altogether. The Kara miso ramen is a great bowl of ramen but like most ramens in ph, was on the salty side.
Just ordered Tantanmen ramen coz of thr recommendations here. Hoping it's worth it.
Miso ramen hands down the best in town .
Better have a big appetite when you go here ????
Since I do not eat pork , I did not get the legendary tantanmen ; had the vegetable ramen instead and it was so much win.
A god, authentic Japanese meal doesn't have to be expensive . Prices are reasonable.
Be here before 6pm, and sample Tantanmen - the best ramen in the world. And I'm not kidding.
Tantanmen Ramen ???? is the best in the world! ????
Would have been great if only ramen isn't swimming on pork fat . Level 3 of spice isn't enough, if you want it hot. Go Level 4 or max 5!
I consider ramen as comfort food because of this place. Check out their lunch meals, too. Sulit for the price! :)
Best ramen in Manila !
Anything Miso Based ????????????????????????????????
For dinner, better to come at 5pm. Line starts at 6pm but the ramen is worth the wait. They serve your ramen how you like it. Definitely worth coming back. - Joy O.
Tokusen toroniku ramen is a must try! Their yummy shio broth plus the super tender and flavorful roasted pork cheek will surely make your hungry tummy happy!:) - Jillian
This is the right place if you’re a fan of ramen. Their tantanmen is a must try! Please include the gyoza and chashu ???? - Joan Berdul
it's a huge shopping complex with a lot mix of shops and nice eateries - Flona Hakim
Pepper Lunch..one of the best DIY restaurant in Rockwell..i love the kani and chicken shake-shake salad.. - Anna Maricel Guilaran
