The mezzanine tickets are SO worth the extra $10 - a fraction of the people, your own bar & bathroom as well as tables and seating; the venue is so intimate , there's really not a bad seat in the house
Voted Best Concert Venue by City Pages in 2012! From the lush decor, to the sight lines , and the sound- This place is faultless. There is no better way to get pampered than the Varsity.

Even though Minneapolis is a cold city , this venue is a magical place! The people who live here love to see live music , and everyone should experience seeing live music at Varsity.” – Andy Grammer
The bathrooms at GORGEOUS. Staff is awesome, sight lines are fantastic, just the best venue the cities have to offer.
Really cool bathrooms ! Hard to see if you aren't up close to the stage as it's very narrow. The handicap section is close to the stage.
The Venue is fantastic! Very nice place! The staff is very friendly also!
Great venue to see music but get there early because parking can be challenging in this area.
Went for a wedding. It's a beautiful venue. The bathrooms are cool too
Mezzanine is worth it for the people-watching alone. And seats, of course.
If venue is full in lower level, watch for upper level to open and be ready so you can snag a good spot during the mad dash!
All shows are great here. Pay for mezzanine of its an option.
Say hi to Bartender Todd Dowd, he's the best! And tell them to put Muddy Paws Cheesecake on their events menu!
Great place to see a concert in the heart of Dinkytown.
Very intimate venue , great sound and the addition of the balcony makes it a unique place to see a show.
Very cool aesthetics, and yes its true the bathrooms are pretty cool.
We'll be here supporting Young the Giant on Feb. 20, 2012. Be sure to check it out, and wear neon and your dancing shoes . - Walk the Moon
One of my favorite music venues in MN!

Go to the Varsity Theater to catch a good night of music . Keep the Summit EPA flowing and allow yourself to fall into a trance.
Check out the remodeled bathrooms (even if you don't need to go).
I don't normally judge a place by it's bathrooms but you need to experience these.
Coolest bathrooms ever. Seriously.
Beer is pretty standard and relatively cheap. I like it but if you want to sit like I do, you must arrive much earlier than the show... Beer is pretty cheap as well. Enjoy!!! - Brian Wene
By far one of my favorite music venues, very good atmosphere and friendly staff. - Michael Hahn
