BEST cocktails in Austin. They use fresh ingredients to make unique and delicious drinks you can't find anywhere else. Just tell them what you want or the flavor you're looking for, they'll make it.
Unleash your inner flapper and come out to Peche to sample fantastic cocktails served up by the best mixologists west of the Mississippi. Favorites include the Sazerac and the Texas Mule .
The Best Pisco Sour in town !!! They have many awesome drinks, but their Pisco Sour is like the ones I had in Santiago (Chile).
Nice soothing environment. 100+ cocktails , lots of liquor . Exquisite cuisine. Lots of unique items on the menu, escargot and rabbit liver mousse
The atmosphere of this place is perfect. The prohibition-style attire of the bartenders is spot on with the 1920s atmosphere of the bar . Try the French 77 - it's absolutely perfect.
Where do I start..Butter Lettuce Salad with Avacado comes w a slice of the most amazing cheese . Meatball dish was slightly spicy & stuffed with cheese . Delicious. Tried to come back before I left.
Vintage cocktail ? YES! This is the only place in Austin that serve legal absinthe (without wormwood). The bar tenders are knowledgable and they do take mixology to the next level.
An amazing selection of sipping absinthe and absinthe cocktails . Close to the downtown craziness yet secluded enough to get a break from it.
The food is RIDICULOUSLY good. The trout with hatch Chile butter and chocolate torte with salted caramel mousse were my favorites. The Silver Monk cocktail is also amazing. Lovely atmosphere!
A comprehensive absinthe list and a drink menu littered with cocktails from the show, Peche is the mixology bar . Our favorite is the NY Sour with Makers Mark , lemon , simple, and a red wine float.
Quite possibly the best meal I had on this trip to Austin! The escargot is outstanding. Their duck confit is the best I’ve ever tasted.
A comprehensive absinthe list and a drink menu littered with cocktails from the show, Peche is the mixology bar . Our favorite is the NY Sour with Makers Mark , lemon , simple, and a red wine float.
A big restaurant with a speakeasy vibe. Have the bartenders make you a drink, I got the lions tail, which was perfect.
Looks unassuming from the outside, but on the inside it's the perfect little spot to enjoy a drink. The adult milkshakes are fun and delicious. Read more
If you’re a gin drinker, I strongly recommend the Bees Knees (gin , local honey and lemon ). Even though Hendrick’s is my new favorite, the Cucumber Gimlet was a little too sweet for my liking.
Can't go wrong with their Sunday all day happy hour ! Cocktails are great and we enjoyed our food choices!
Extensive drink menu with lots of great choices, but also a good opportunity to talk to the bartenders about what you like to see what they suggest.
Creative cocktail menu , ask your server for recommendations. I love the off the menu Periwinkle cocktail , not too sweet and incredibly refreshing.
One of my favorite restaurants in Austin. The duck confit is delightful, but it's hard to go wrong with such a wonderful menu.
Incredible cocktails with even more incredible food! Great presentation of the drinks too.
Our group loved the mushroom app, the Mac and cheese and the short ribs . Great cocktails too!
Love the extremely well made cocktails and delicious food in a mellow, but fun atmosphere !
Austin's original absinthe house has an extensive menu filled with modern and classic cocktails categorized by base spirit. Of course, there's no better place to have traditionally prepared absinthe .
Intimate artisan cocktail bar with great old school recipes (my fave was Spicy Bees Knees)... and absinthe . The farm salad with egg and pork belly were great.
Wow! Drinks are amazing yes the best for sure, but it must be said that the Food here is some of the best in austin also!
Fig Manhattan was delicious. Great whiskey collection
Short ribs , scallops , and Mac& Cheese for food. Cocktail : Corpse reviver #2 was fire. Really good drinks.
The Mac and cheese and mushroom fritters are great. Order the mustache gun for your drink. Not on the menu , but it is AWESOME.
Solid cocktails . Extensive whiskey selection . Place is slammed for happy hour on a Friday
Great music , great bartenders . Sit at the bar on a Sunday night with a book . Ask for a spicy bees knees.
Love the vibe. Awesome cocktails and food. Worth passing by for their happy hour
Austin's first absinthe bar . The place to be for awesome scotch/whiskey and drinks. Love their interior and ambience!
Try the Half-Pound Burger with House Cured Bacon , Gruyere , and Whole Grain Mustard Aioli on a Potato Bun - (via @Foodspotting)
Cool bar with a ton of cocktail options, but you definitely need to try something with Absinthe
Great selection of unique cocktails . Kind of expensive but a great treat. The Silver Monk is delicious.
Amazing bar to stumble into during sxsw. Lots of original absinthe cocktails
A cocktail bar for people who don't think they like cocktails . Don't bother asking for anything with Vodka . Branch out, let an expert mixologist make you a COCKTAIL & snack on some tasty small plates .
Short rib with duck fat mash , French onion soup..ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING. All day HH Sun & Mon: $5 cocktails and 1/2 off apps with an *
So many cocktails to choose from. I really enjoyed the up in smoke (mezcal ) one.
Bartenders really know their stuff and are happy to share their knowledge . Ask around if you're not sure what to order.
Ask for a mezcal sazerac and enjoy. Incredible service, especially Rene, Rico, and Caer.
Anybody who thinks Peche is overpriced wouldn't know good food or amazing cocktails if they came up and bit them in the face! Peche has ruined us for all other bars , the cocktails are amazing!!
One of my new favorite cocktail bars . The fig Manhattan is incredible.
Ask for the Up in Smoke if you like mezcal . It’s off menu , but oh so good.
Amazing cocktails , service, atmosphere. Fig Manhattan for sure but also Lovers Lost.
Peche runs a happy hour on select cocktails Tuesday - Friday from 5-7 p.m. as well as all day on Sundays and Mondays
Most knowledgable bartenders and creative drinks , but the food is outstanding, too. If you order mussels , get extra bread for the broth. Very tasty.
Order a couple types of absinthe and have them walk you through it. They know their stuff.
Extensive selection of cocktails . Recommend the Texas mule if you like spicy drinks .
The French 75 is amazing and so is the salted cod potatoes . Sat at the bar with Mark as our bartender and he was interesting and informative!
Cool bar to grab drinks at... dark, lots of candles, great deck. - Tammy Gordon
Comfortable interior, with an elevated balcony, good variety of cocktails with a specialization in tequila. A little pricy though - James Stephenson
Amazing cocktails. Try the Vieux Carre or The Right Hand. Bar food is a cut above. Very busy on Fridays and weekends. Can be standing room only. - Rachel Lasseter
Good for its wide variety of drinks (ask them for the grapefruit joy :) and concerts. - Yulia K
Hibiscus and ginger mojito is fantastic! And so is the goat cheese salad. - Emma
Lofty ceilings and a nice rooftop bar in the center of Downtown. Great place to grab a cocktail. - Raj S.
